In the cold weather, the miso soup warmed me right up❤️ I also like the atmosphere. Since it's run by an elderly couple, it takes time. I just wish the uncle (owner) wouldn't smoke 🚬 inside the kitchen. The smell drifted over Nabeyaki udon might be good too.
View on GoogleThe rice ball set here is amazing~ I go hiking almost every week just to eat this The landlady is also very cheerful and wonderful 😀 In November, at a special seat while viewing the very beautiful autumn leaves 🍁
View on GoogleMy favorite shop. The rice ball set is extremely delicious. Simple and nostalgic taste. It warms the heart. It looks like a shack, but that gives it character and makes it nice. The outside view is also superb. (Today the rice ball set was sold out, so I had zenzai instead) Just a short climb up the mountain from the Myoken-san parking lot.
View on GoogleJust a bit uphill from the Myoken-san parking lot, at 12 noon there were already people waiting in line. A teahouse run by an elderly couple and their handsome young grandson. It seems the rice ball set is their specialty. In front of the shop are takeout chestnut sticky rice and mugwort mochi. Selling like hotcakes. Sold out by 1 PM. Put down my name a little past 12, took my time visiting the temple, and came back right before 1 PM, but still wasn't called. Waited another 30 minutes from there. Anyway, this is a shop you can't wait for unless you have peace of mind. Everyone is so good at waiting. Ordered curry udon and kitsune udon. And fuki rice balls. The taste is ordinary home cooking. Not worth the wait. However, since there are almost no places to eat around you either wait here, get takeout, or bring your own bento. Curry udon 900 yen Rice ball 250 yen Thanks for the meal
View on GoogleIt was winter and not crowded, so I could spend a relaxing time. My rice ball set was taken by my child, but just the miso soup was full of satisfaction. The hot amazake was also nice.
