Excellent food, cool drinks, friendly staff and warm atmosphere: Ichiban in Toyonaka! Can recommend those guys warmly!

Found an okonomiyaki restaurant I discovered in Toyonaka after 20 years. Rare to have Hiroshima-yaki! Lunch for 1000 yen and can be enjoyed deliciously, what a deal! Everyone in the shop is also kind, a store I want to go to again ♪

I used to visit often before, but hearing that the renovation was finished, I quickly revisited after a long time. The space inside the store was said to have been reduced to 1/3, but around 6 PM on Friday it was already full and several groups were turned away. It was delicious with a local taste after a long time. Today is Mix Yakisoba and Mix Okonomiyaki.

Previously I couldn't even say it was delicious, but although the management is the same, they have drastically increased the menu, conscious of being an affordable okonomiyaki izakaya, and the quality has improved considerably. Drinks are also substantial, and you can even choose strong concentrations. Recently, it seems there are times during dinner hours when it's difficult without a reservation, making it one of the popular shops in the vicinity. Knowing how it was before, I take my hat off to the efforts of the staff, but it still seems to have room to grow and I have high expectations 🤗 I want to go again.

Before the renovation, I visited several times bringing relatives and friends living outside Osaka Prefecture, but this is my first time visiting for a drinking party after the renovation. I always book the Waraku course, which is rich in variety ranging from squid yaki, gyoza, kotecchan, tonpei-yaki, yakisoba, to flour dishes, and everything goes very well with alcoholic drinks. The members who went together unanimously praised it with "want to go again". Also, the employees were pleasant. Since the number of seats has decreased after renovation, it seems better to make reservations especially on weekends and holidays before days off. During the meal, 3-4 groups could not enter due to being fully booked. Next time relatives come to Osaka, I'll take care of using this place.
