<5 mins walk from Hankyu Takarazuka Line Toyonaka Station> Thin udon shop 'Heisei Mengyo Toyonaka Branch'. Udon dedicates itself entirely to homemade noodles and homemade dashi, so we offer only <<100 portions only>> of freshly made noodles that day. The dashi is blended with a unique blend of the highest quality bonito, sodatsu, urume, and mackerel flakes. Please enjoy this elegant and refreshing masterpiece at least once.

Freshly made udon of the highest quality! - the udon has a wonderful texture and “chew” and absorbs all of the flavours of the light broth that is not overly salty. The best udon I’ve had and highly recommend! Keep up the exceptional work! Will be back again soon. Lino (Canada)

Small and clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Went for lunch and had kitsunekasu udon, nikukasu udon, karaage, and fried kaki (oyster). Everything was really good, the udon are exceptional! The udon is a relatively soft type and the portions are also generous.

Seeing the review that the karaage is delicious, I ordered additional karaage. It was better than expected!! Of course the udon is delicious, but the taste of the karaage is unforgettable.

Entered at the same time as opening on a weekday. Since it was my first time, I ordered Bukkake Toriten Udon. When leaving the seat midway, the staff called out to the kitchen staff to convey the timing of making, which I thought was wonderful consideration. The noodles are thin but chewy, with three huge chicken tempura sitting right on top. The noodles are slippery and very filling and delicious. The dashi was slightly sweet, perhaps unique to Kansai(?). There is also a kids menu, udon (2 types) with jelly for 350 yen, which is a steal. On the way back, I also received ramune candy. High chairs and cutleries were provided, and there was a tatami seating area, so I'd like to come back leisurely with family again.
