A business contact invited me: "There's a yakiniku place I go to often — want to go?" No reason to say no. It's along the Shin-Tone road near Kumanoda Elementary School, so the shop was easy to find. There's a parking lot near the shop with a decent number of spaces. The inside is kept neat and clean, and since it was the weekend, it was lively. Orders for meat and drinks were handled briskly, so we didn't have to wait long (though it probably depends on how busy it is). The set meat was delicious and I think it's a good deal (the à la carte yukhoe and salads are also tasty). Since I came by car I couldn't drink alcohol, but it's nice that there's a decent selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I took my time and thoroughly enjoyed the meat. I hear they don't take reservations on weekends and it's first come, first served. Please be aware.

On weekends there's a wait and it's bustling. The meat quality is excellent and great value. I'm satisfied with the per-person portions too. Soft drinks in a beer mug are about 160 yen — an incredible price. Alcohol is cheap too. The bill is about 20% cheaper than other places of the same quality, so we often go as a family. The yukhoe sauce is the most delicious in Japan. The noodles in the stone-grilled ramen are chewy — a dish I want you to try at least once. The thick-cut tongue and harami are also very tender and delicious. The loin and kalbi here are maybe too high-quality — they're on the fatty side. I'd be happy if the grilled vegetables were a little cheaper. Both the manager and the part-timers aren't very friendly (lol), but when you order it arrives in seconds, and I think everyone works hard. It bothers me that the tatami seating area sometimes isn't cleaned thoroughly.

Relatively reasonable with big portions✨ Just like many of the reviews say, the 7 or so staff members didn't seem motivated at all‥ but when you order, the food comes out pretty fast✨ I'd recommend smile training for the floor staff. Maybe there aren't any other affordable yakiniku places around, or maybe the parking is convenient‥ but it's packed with customers ٩(^‿^)۶

I just happened to walk into this place in passing, without any plan at all. I went in without expecting much, but I was hugely proven wrong. (lol) Every kind of meat I ate was delicious. And what moved me the most was that the meat quality exceeded the price!!!!!!!!! Even the kimchi was just the way I like it. The kimchi assortment had yam kimchi too, and it was superb. Definitely order it!!!! I think the meat quality here makes you want to bring your friends. From now on, whenever I can't decide on yakiniku, I'll probably come to もくもく亭. I really recommend it!!!!!!!!
