For an airport restaurant I think this is simply amazing. It has a lot of side dishes with good quality, quality of fish is also good. I ordered the bream, it is grilled maybe on a slightly over-grilled side but it still tastes really good. Portion size is also amazing for airport.

While we were waiting to board the plane, we tried this restaurant for lunch. We ordered the Salmon Belly & Salted Salmon set meal. Both foods are okay. The grilled fish is fine, but the salmon belly may be a little bit salty to my mouth. The price is reasonable, although the real fish is smaller than the sample.

It was nice to have grilled fish in the food court near the gates. The fish was flavorful, and it came with a lot of side dishes.

First time at Gekokutei Osaka International Airport branch. I dropped by to have a quick drink and lunch before the flight. Ordered the salt-grilled mackerel set meal and a Kaku highball. Aah~ wonderful. Above all, it's great that the Kaku highball is in a can. And a plastic cup filled with ice. For Kaku highball lovers, I think this is the best of the best. And, the salt-grilled mackerel set meal. Rich with small side dishes, which is also great 👍🏻 Gulping down the Kaku highball with the small side dishes as snacks. This alone is amazing, and finally, salt-grilled mackerel with white rice and miso soup. It was truly a very satisfying daytime (+ rice) drinking experience. Thank you very much 🙏🏻 I definitely want to stop by again before flying somewhere from Itami. Thank you for the meal ☆ ☺️

Sakai Ginshari Gekokutei A set meal restaurant with a simple menu featuring 5-6 types of grilled fish main dishes. The cheapest salt-grilled mackerel set meal was 1,200 yen including tax. They start grilling the fish after you order, so it took a little time, but the taste is consistently delicious. Prices go up for Saikyo-yaki and other fish. Operated by a company in Sakai, Osaka until 2013, and seems to have been acquired by Fujio Food System Co., Ltd. up to the present. Famous for Maido Ookini Shokudo, Kushiya Monogatari, and Sachifukuya. The rice is definitely better than other major chains, but if you're used to rice cooked in an iron pot at your own home, you wouldn't be all that surprised.
