I went because it was Day of the Ox (Doyo no Ushi-no-hi), but It was not as expected. The customer service of the middle-aged male clerk is mediocre. I ordered a gozen (set meal), but considering the suburban location, 5000 yen for a size smaller than a whole eel is overpriced. Also, I was dissatisfied with having to wait about 30 minutes for the food to be served even though vacant seats were noticeable. The existing eel restaurant in Tondabayashi felt more attractive.
View on GoogleLive eel is filleted in the store, and you can eat it freshly grilled. The grill marks are savory, the skin is crispy, and the refreshing sauce that brings out the deliciousness of the eel is also the best. I want you to try it once!
View on GoogleI came 1 week after opening Ordered Unadon (bowl with 6 pieces of eel ¥2800) and Heian Gozen (¥6980) It's refreshing with a single coat of sauce It's grilled crispy, but perhaps because the meat is a bit thin? For those who want it richer, they leave sauce for you Route 170 inbound direction, the huge eel balloon at the entrance was the landmark During Friday lunchtime, I could get in after waiting a little, but Since it's a dish that takes time to grill, it might be smoother if you make a reservation after all Parking spaces are not many, so if there are cars without reservations, I'm a little worried if they can park, so you might want to ask when making a reservation. There seem to be no coin-operated parking lots around to park in.
View on GoogleEven going around opening time, it was already a 1-hour wait. Since they grill it after ordering, I waited about 40 minutes, but it was fluffy and delicious. It was good that I could adjust the taste to my liking. However, I was guided to a seat where the previous person had just eaten, made to wait, and they cleaned it on the spot, but they wiped the desk and chairs without alcohol disinfection, so I was worried about the hygiene aspect.
View on GoogleIt opened in the neighborhood, so we went for family dinner with expectations. It is authentic Kansai-style grilled kabayaki, but perhaps due to age, I thought Edomae-style shirayaki (steamed then grilled) suits me better after all. When I was young, I liked Kansai-style grilling, but that is my fault and I don't think the shop's quality is bad. It was a 6-piece unaju, but I thought it was good to share half with my wife. Services such as serving were no good for a restaurant with a customer spend of 8,000 yen due to unaccustomedness, and I thought a family restaurant was better. I wanted to order liver skewers too, but they said they didn't have them because it was just opened at night. I thought, you're an eel restaurant, right. Being told there is no liver at the time of opening is the first time in various eel restaurants I've visited, and I was surprised. I also thought, is this shop okay? I had expectations since it opened nearby, so repeating is difficult, but with hope, I'll go just one more time. For those who have never eaten Kansai live eel filleted and grilled after ordering, please give it a try.
