Stopped by for a casual visit during work. Takoyaki that ticks three boxes: cheap, huge, and delicious—a takoyaki shop I definitely want to have in my local neighborhood. And the store manager is extremely friendly! It seems there are many universities and such around, and out of consideration for the students, he can't bring himself to raise prices, but it's such a wonderful shop that I'd still go even if prices went up. 4 pieces for 280 yen. I thought if the flavors are different, I should order 4 pieces of each separately, but for 12 pieces for 800 yen, he made them in 3 different flavors for me. Sesame salt and green onion salt seem to be recommended, and I finished off the remaining slot with mentaiko mayo, but ordering the recommended flavors is an absolute must. I was planning to order 12 takoyaki and go home, but the store manager strongly recommended adding the Morioka cold noodles. While cooking it himself until the cold noodles came out, the manager said, "You must have thought, 'What nonsense is this guy talking, recommending cold noodles even though he's just an old guy at a takoyaki shop'"—and he was right, I had underestimated him... It was so delicious you couldn't imagine it from its simple appearance of just having sudachi citrus on top. It's summer-limited, and around October they change from cold noodles to sundubu, so you definitely have to eat the cold noodles. With the cold noodles and about 4 takoyaki, an average man will be full. As of early September 2025, you'll even get change from a 1000 yen bill after eating takoyaki and cold noodles! I was told I could park my car in front of the shop if it's just one, but since it seems to be a private road, a coin parking lot is recommended for going in groups. Manager, I will definitely come again!

A recommended restaurant for those who want to eat authentic, genuine takoyaki. When my wife and I visited on our way back from Osaka University of Arts, chatting away with the very friendly and personable owner, eating exquisite takoyaki in a very homely atmosphere became a wonderful memory. Takoyaki so truly delicious that you might not be able to eat Tokyo takoyaki anymore ⁇ Those who don't know the authentic taste should definitely try it. I definitely want to visit again when I come to Osaka.

The size of the takoyaki is quite large. Firm on the outside and soft on the inside. Ingredients other than octopus are tenkasu (tempura scraps) and red pickled ginger. The topping is bonito powder. The sauce has a strong aroma. However, there is no peculiar taste or greasiness. The voluminous takoyaki tastes good and gives a sense of fullness at the same time. Prices start from 240 yen for 4 pieces. They sell things other than takoyaki too. Though a store near the station, parking space is available. Vehicles can be parked in front of the store. The owner is a very friendly man.

The old guy is friendly and a good person! Even though I only go occasionally, he remembers me properly. The takoyaki is truly delicious, especially the sesame salt which is ridiculously delicious, so please give it a try!

A takoyaki shop right in front of Kintetsu Kishi Station. The uncle storekeeper looks stern but is a very kind and funny Osaka guy. The takoyaki menu is extensive, quantities can be bought starting from 2 pieces, and it's possible to eat inside the shop. Besides takoyaki, there are also drinks, tapioca, soft serve ice cream, etc. Kishi Station gave the impression that many users are students because PL Gakuen and Osaka University of Arts are in the surrounding area. It's very friendly and cozy, so it's recommended.
