Located one block in from the riverside of Akutagawa. Free parking available at the shop. Maybe space for one car? There might be other places to park. Takeout OK. PayPay payment available. An old-school soba and teishoku shop. Over 16 table seats. The presence of bottled Coca-Cola and juice gives it a nostalgic charm. There is also a TV. Opens at 10:30 AM. Opening a bit early is helpful. No wait time. Egg and ginger soba was very delicious. As in everyone's comments, the salt content is a bit strong. Since I prefer light flavors, it felt like a strong punch for the first time in a while. However, family said it was the most delicious they've had in Takatsuki. The curry bowl set. The payment wooden tag comes on the tray, which you take to the register. Prices are cheap. The staff were also friendly. Fast service, and it was a shop that made you feel nostalgic.

#ZuboraShokudo 1-2-54 Minamipodai, Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture Feeling like I've finally returned after a long time, this shop is located in a quiet residential area of my hometown Takatsuki City. It's a diner that remains just like the Showa era, retaining a nostalgia that lasts into modern times. More than anything, I was relieved to see the shop's mother looking energetic. Having neglected it for over 5 years, out of pure nostalgia I ended up heading there. Well, even before I felt the taste was a bit strong, but it's a fact that my own tongue changed over these 5 years, making it feel even stronger. Still, that strength is probably part of this shop's charm. The "kaeshi" for the rice bowls uses tamari soy sauce, and while the color is dark, the soy sauce flavor feels sweet. There is a history of protecting this flavor unchanged for decades by adding to the sauce pot over and over. Whether it changed or not, the prices have been relatively working-class since before. This shop exists today precisely because old regulars visit multiple times a week. Open for lunch only. From 10 AM to 2 PM. Due to the influence of COVID-19 and age, weekends and Wednesdays are regular closing days. The daughter helps out as a waitress. Of course, I was grateful that she remembered me and showed joy. Time passed slowly, filling both stomach and heart. Also on Instagram shaka_photo... As of 2022.02.14 Closed on weekends and Wednesdays Other weekdays Business hours are 10:00—14:00. Postscript: 2022.08.01 After the husband passed away, the daughter's husband entered the kitchen. I haven't heard details, but it seems they will operate on Saturdays. Currently I haven't heard anything regarding Wednesdays, so those coming from afar please check by phone.

Yay~ lunch on a certain day, popular diner ✨ Lately it's really become a routine, and I feel like my options for destinations are narrowing, so I'm starting to think it might be okay to include different choices once in a while 😌 . So let's gooo \(^o^)/ . This time I came to Zubora Shokudo . Man, when you come to places like this, you tend to end up ordering oyakodon _(┐ "ε:)_ Living alone, deep-frying is a hassle and I don't do it much, plus I was hungry this day 😇😇 . Katsutoji set 🐽 . At the time of serving, the thoughtfulness of "I made the rice a little light, so let me know if you want a refill~" made me so happy (´;ω;`) It might be a common thing for women, but I've seen on TL that when you order large portions they get reduced (I've had this happen too. Like, I ordered large?) or served so much you wonder if you can finish it. I'M ORDERING BECAUSE I'LL EAT IT! If someone does that with a weird filter, No matter how delicious, there's no second time 🤣🤣 Because of that, this casual remark was extraordinarily happy (´;ω;`) Now then, let's dig in 😋 . Take a bite 😋 Thoroughly sweet seasoning soaked into the crispy batter and it's sooo good 🤤 Rice goes down and down 🐷 The egg simmered in this sweet seasoning is irresistible as well oooh. I don't dislike katsutoji made with lots of eggs and gooey texture. I like katsutoji where it's firmly cooked and just gently surrounds the cutlet \(^o^)/ Of course I had a rice refill 🤣🤣 . Including taste and customer service, I want to go again. A popular diner I personally want to revisit. Thanks for the meal 🍴
