Please never go. It's a rip-off. Even if you think it's expensive and ask for a receipt, they push back saying they can only issue a statement of accounts (ryoshusho). In the end, Don't say fussy things, it's my first time being told this they bully you with a bad attitude. Haven't other reviews written the same opinion? If it were good customer service and delicious food I'd step back 100 paces and understand, but everything is below average. When I came about 8 years ago it was a much better shop... So that the next victim doesn't appear, I wrote a review even though I don't usually write them.
View on GoogleFood prices are generally set high, alcohol prices are normal. Various appetizers came out at first so I had expectations. However, as I ate various things, the weather gradually became suspicious... The pork was dry, tasteless, and hard, and the eel kamameshi ordered at the end was expensive, but since it's eel~ I thought and ordered. No matter where you dig, there is almost no eel... It's like ordinary seasoned rice... The toilet is also an old Japanese-style one that is hard to call clean, and there were unusually many staff members for the number of customers.
View on GooglePreviously, when I ordered a salad, they brought out a huge amount of bright red, spoiled lettuce! Unbelievable... Overall, the prices are quite high, and the quality for that price is... unacceptable. Even the toilet had stains in the bowl, and the food management and lack of hygiene made me feel sick.
View on GoogleAround 7:00 PM on a Saturday, I visited for the first time because I saw some delicious-looking photos in the reviews. Takatsuki was bustling around 7:00 PM, and every restaurant was packed, but this one only had us. I was a bit uneasy with no other customers at this time on a Saturday, but the appetizer came out first and it looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Just as we were leisurely eating and saying, 'We found a good spot, didn't we?', a cockroach dropped from the ceiling. Plop, it landed right on top of the plate of sashimi. Afterwards, it crawled underneath the plate. Thinking 'Yikes...', but coming from someone who used to work in the food and beverage industry, I figured it's just one of those things that happens, so I caught the cockroach with a wet towel and reported it to the staff. I know it wasn't intentional, but it's a huge issue for a restaurant, so I expected them to at least offer a heartfelt apology. Instead, they said, 'Excuse meee, thank you for catching it! I'll go get rid of it again!' and handed me a new wet towel. They didn't even re-wipe the table. And on top of that, they charged us the full price. In my opinion, regardless of whether the cockroach actually fell on the plate or not, they should have properly apologized, asked if we wanted the food on the table remade, wiped the table down, or at least shown some consideration by giving a slight discount on the dishes that were on the table. Was there no heartfelt apology because I let my guard down by saying, 'I used to work in the food industry so I understand, it's okay'? Did they look down on me because I'm a woman, or is that just how they usually handle things? After that, the dish that came before the cockroach was served, but the cabbage garnish had a strong bleaching powder smell, leaving a bad aftertaste to the meal. Even though they serve delicious food, it was disappointing that there was no service that made me want to come back. I'm very disappointed.
View on GoogleAn awfully hard-to-read menu, quality below home-cooked food, and a rip-off bill that didn't add up no matter how many times I calculated it. A pretty terrible restaurant.
