I went alone on a Saturday night. The restaurant looked almost full. You buy a meal ticket in advance. I was curious about the "Tanin-don zaru soba bento" (¥1,350) on the screen menu, asked about it, and was told it's a beef and egg rice bowl, so I ordered it. The bowl had a sukiyaki-style seasoning and was delicious. The ceiling is high and the space roomy; it made for a satisfying dinner.
View on GoogleI went for lunch. I wanted kitsune udon but sadly it wasn't on the lunch menu… They said the lunch menu was reduced due to a staff shortage. There are a few parking spots in front of the shop (hard to park in) and a few more across the road. The food portions are huge! I got really full. It tastes good too. You have to get a ticket from the ticket machine, but there are so many menu options that I get flustered when there are customers behind me (lol)
View on GoogleThere are several free parking spots, in 2 places: in front of the shop and across the road. The ones in front of the shop were right up against the road. A kei car will be fine. The set meal portions were big. The soba didn't look like that much either, but it was a lot. I wondered, is this really one serving? Just as the reviews said. You buy a ticket at the ticket machine. There are no photos, so it's better to look at the menu and decide beforehand. The waiting area isn't big, and it's stressful when there's a line at the ticket machine. I visited just after 11 during Golden Week and waited 10 minutes to be seated. From sitting down to the food arriving took about 15 minutes. The restaurant was full. It tasted good. The soba was good. I felt the tempura was fried a bit too long. But it was still tasty. With this price, volume, and taste, I understood why it's popular. The interior is spacious with a high ceiling. There was a serving robot.
View on GoogleIt feels like one of those noodle-focused Japanese restaurants that used to be all over along national highways, but as you'd expect from one still around today, the quality and flavor were solid and delicious. I've had niku soba → chilled bukkake udon → the oyakodon set with zaru udon, and the udon is delicious, or rather, superb Both how it's boiled and the flavor of the udon itself are superb I go to Kagawa to eat udon about every six months, and even compared to there, apart from price, I'd say it holds its own (by my own standards lol Man, I'm torn over what to eat next time. Well, the problem is it's a meal-ticket system,, There are so many menu items that I'd like to take my time choosing at the table,, Other than that it's a really good place, so I'll keep coming back. Thank you for the delicious Japanese food.
View on GoogleToday's recommended service lunch is a great deal❤️ My last visit was before I started using Tabelog, so it's been quite a while. An old-established udon shop, probably one of the bigger places around here~ with parking for over 20 cars Wow… it's switched to a meal-ticket system~ and they've brought in serving robots (*゜Q゜*) My mom and husband had ■Ten zaru soba ¥1,100×2 The ten zaru comes with 2 shrimp♪ My tempura was tasty, but the shrimp tempura for my mom and husband was overfried and not great… Shrimp is the star of tempura, so that's a shame The soba was a bigger portion compared to the lunch soba I went with today's recommended service lunch ■Tendon and noodle set ¥850◎ The tendon is the type where you pour on as much tentsuyu as you like yourself The tendon's tempura included nori, shrimp, eggplant, snow peas, shiso, pumpkin and more~ the tendon was super yummy❤️ The set meals here are hearty and reasonably priced, you know The staff member, an elderly lady, was an incredibly hard worker and her service was really good. I'd want them to give her a raise (lol) Details on my blog I'm on Ameblo❤️ Ikura-chan's eating tour of Hyogo Prefecture
