津の田カリー エミル高槻店 津の田カリー エミル高槻店 is an authentic European-style curry specialist located on the 2nd floor of the shopping mall 「エミル高槻」, directly connected to Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station. Its sister restaurant 「津の田ミート」 is on the same floor, and it's drawing attention as a curry shop run by a group well regarded for its meat dishes. All the seats are at the counter, and it features a calm dark-brown interior. It's easy to drop in alone, and it's popular with female customers too. This time I had the wagyu beef curry topped with scrambled egg. The 「Wagyu Beef Curry」 uses Kuroge wagyu sourced through the company's own butchery, slow-simmered until it falls apart — a superb dish. The curry sauce had a nice balance of sweetness and spiciness. A European-style curry where the quality of the ingredients and the balance of flavor really shine. I visited this restaurant alone around 8:15pm. I ordered the Betsumori Business Curry (curry served separately). The curry here contains the wagyu used at 津の田ミート next door, and the meat's flavor came through well. The menchi katsu in particular released more meaty flavor the more I chewed, and it was very delicious. The curry roux was thick. Maybe the curry I ordered didn't contain wagyu, as it tasted like ordinary curry. The Betsumori Business Curry I ordered comes with hamburg steak, chicken nanban, menchi katsu, salad, and soup in addition to the curry, for 1100円 incl. tax, which I thought was great value. Seating included the counter, a table for 4, and a table for 2. It was recently renovated, so the restaurant was very clean. If I visit Takatsuki-shi Station after work or while traveling, I'd like to have dinner here again — it was a good restaurant that made me feel that way.

Ordered the Betsumori Business Curry (free large rice). The standard amount of curry was plenty, the minchi katsu was delicious, and the karaage was big and satisfying. It was a mystery that none of the customers before or after me ordered this.

It was a Saturday, and I came for lunch just before 2 o'clock. It's right by the ticket gates of Takatsuki Station, and I ordered the fillet katsu curry from the lunch set ☆ I went with a smaller 150g portion of rice. I appreciated that they asked how much rice I wanted. The curry is a pour-it-yourself style. It wasn't spicy-hot, the spices came through, and it was delicious. It said the beef curry is the most popular. It seems there are also drink and dessert sets. The pudding looked delicious! I was able to eat quickly and head out, which was a big help. You can also earn S Points. I'd seen Tsunoda Meat's hamburger steak restaurant before, but there was an ad posted saying there's also a Tsunoda Curry shop in Ibaraki.
