This time I ordered the **Hatcho Miso Pork Loin Katsudon (1,700 yen including tax)**. It comes with miso soup, 3 kinds of Kyoto pickles, and cabbage, and being able to get free refills on the cabbage is a nice plus. The freshly fried pork loin cutlet has a crispy batter, and the meat is tender and satisfying. The Hatcho miso sauce has a sweetness to it that makes the rice go down easily. However, personally, I felt it was a bit strong, seasoned solidly enough to make my throat thirsty by the time I finished. Since it comes with plenty of shredded cabbage and Kyoto pickles, you can reset the flavors along the way and enjoy it deliciously until the end. Recommended for those who like sweet miso katsu.

The tonkatsu was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, which is quite delicious. Cabbage and miso soup are free to refill, but you can't eat that much. Too bad! You grind sesame seeds yourself in a small mortar using a small pestle. The fluffy aroma of sesame stimulates the appetite. Put the tonkatsu sauce from the ceramic lidded container into the small mortar containing the ground sesame, and preparations are complete. I ordered the 1,800 yen Saika Katsu Zen. It comes with Mochibuta pork and fried shrimp, and I'm very satisfied! You can choose your rice from white rice or ten-grain rice. There was a special spring cherry ten-grain rice. The ten-grain rice had a fluffy cherry blossom aroma, and it was stylish and delicious. It is located in the restaurant street on the 6th floor of Hankyu Department Store, connected directly by a pedestrian walkway from JR Takatsuki Station, taking 1 minute. I'll go eat there again when I go to Takatsuki!

A tonkatsu restaurant located inside Hankyu right in front of JR Takatsuki Station. The partitions are made of cut-glass, giving it a cool appearance, and it's a quiet shop with classy furnishings. Centered around table seating, it's large enough to accommodate over 50 people. On the day of my visit, I ordered the Mochibuta Pork Loin Katsu Set. It was ready in about 10 minutes. As the name suggests, the Mochibuta katsu was thick, chewy, tender, and juicy, yet the fat was crispy to eat with absolutely no greasy feeling that would upset the stomach—it was delicious. Free refills on rice and cabbage are a happy perk unique to tonkatsu shops. However, the disappointing part is that despite boasting Kyoto pickles on the signboard, the accompanying pickles are few and cannot be refilled, so I'd be happy if they allowed ordering a bit more. Also, while many tonkatsu shops offer free miso soup refills, this place doesn't seem to allow it, which is another disappointment. The menu is rich with many non-tonkatsu items too, but since it's a bit pricey, I probably can't go frequently.

Used it around 20:30 on 4/12. Was the katsu average considering the price? The plum shiso roll was delicious. They told me to order via smartphone, so I did from there. Despite it saying in the service that pickles, rice, and miso soup are free to refill, when I actually tried to get a refill, they told me only rice was possible. Huh? Isn't something different from the listed content touching the display law? I thought that, but since the staff said so, I reluctantly settled for just rice. At this rate, I thought, I might as well just go to Matsunoya.

Visited for lunch. Loin and tenderloin katsu set. The meat is delicious even without sauce. Dip it in sauce and the rice goes down! It was delicious. My wife said the fried shrimp was also good
