蛸源Takogen
Founded in September 1999. An authentic specialty takoyaki shop in Takatsuki City, utilizing the experience of a ryotei (traditional high-end restaurant) chef. Takoyaki made using carefully selected Japanese-style dashi draws many customers not only from local residents but also from outside the city and prefecture, and we often hear comments like "I definitely want to stop by when I come to Osaka." We have also posted the menu in the photos. Please come and enjoy our cheap and delicious takoyaki. We have experience appearing on TV multiple times, etc. Please feel free to drop by!

The service here is very good and there are a lot of options for toppings. The takoyaki is cooked with a soft outside, so it is easy to eat a lot of them.
View on GoogleOrdered via delivery, but the takoyaki, sauce, and mayonnaise were seriously delicious! If you're buying takoyaki in Takatsuki, it's Takogen!
View on GoogleA takoyaki shop I casually drop by whenever I return to Takatsuki. If you're going to some chain store around there, this place a few minutes' walk from the station is definitely more delicious. It's more on the soft and fluffy takoyaki side. Of course freshly made is the most delicious, so this time I had it on the bench next to the fountain in front of the station (there is also a small eat-in space at the shop). Fluffy and soft again today. Well, maybe melt-in-the-mouth soft (^^) Enjoyed it deliciously. Topped with sauce, aonori (green seaweed), mayonnaise, and ichimi (chili pepper). The ichimi was sprinkled on quite solidly, so if you prefer less, it might be good to tell them less ichimi when ordering.
View on GoogleThis is "Takogen". I visited around 14:30. There were no other customers ahead of me, so I was able to buy smoothly. I ordered 10 pieces with sauce flavor for 440 yen with extra negi (green onions) for +60 yen. Took it home and enjoyed it deliciously.
View on GooglePersonally, I think it's a takoyaki shop with quite high cost performance. The shop owner's personality is also great. My topping is always ponz, mayonnaise, and negi. This is the absolute best for me. Please come taste it at least once. Thank you always for the delicious takoyaki.
