The Taiwanese-style stir-fried clams features a rich soup with a punch of garlic, super delicious! The deep-fried pork with heaps of green onions also had an exquisite aromatic sauce, making it a dish that goes great with beer!
View on GoogleA shop characterized by its semi-yatai (food cart) style structure. A place where you can think ramen and fried rice are normally delicious. Substantial eating with plenty of minced meat. The slotted ladle is quietly brilliant. I learned for the first time by visiting this shop how fiercely competitive the Hankyu elevated railway area around here is. Since there are many choices including this shop, it might be fun to worry about choosing a shop here and there in this area when dining with friends?
View on GoogleA record of memories from the day I realized 'let's go drink and finish with the Taiwanese ramen 🍜' that came up in conversation several times. Well then, let's go \(^o^)/ We have arrived at... Tairyu Yatai Oki-Raku Looking at the menu, the ending is decided so I ordered various things. First, cheers 🍻 I love Akahoshi ♡ I love it so much that if they have it, I only drink this. I love stir-fried green vegetables ♡ Delicious, right (●´ω`●) Gyoza with extra-crispy perfection ♡ makes the beer go down and down (●´ω`●) This seasoning for stir-fried clams has garlic and chili peppers in it, not a heavy punch-in-the-face kind, but an addictive saltiness, so delicious that I could drink endlessly using this soup as a snack ♡ And the Taiwanese ramen 🍜 I've been curious about forever Plenty of finely chopped chives and minced meat ♡ The spiciness isn't too strong, so even people who aren't great with spicy food can eat it 💡 Slurping is the best ♡ Nibbling lightly, drinking, and finishing with ramen 🍜 I love this kind of drinking too ♡ If you're curious, go check it out 😉 Thank you for the meal 🍺🍜🥟
View on GoogleAbout a 3-minute walk from Hankyu 'Takatsuki-shi' Station. Tucked away quietly in a residential area past the hustle and bustle of the station front is a Taiwanese restaurant. It is not a large store, so it's a hidden-gem existence you might walk right past if you didn't know, but this kind of shop gives off a premonition of a 'hit'. The interior has the feel of a traditional public diner (taishu shokudo); it's not flashy, but has a calm atmosphere. In addition to the counter, there are table seats, making it a surprisingly spacious room contrary to its small exterior. Visiting at lunchtime, there were a scattering of salarymen and local elderly people. Though there was no line, the seats were reasonably filled, showing it's loved by locals. What I had was the 'Taiwanese Ramen (880 yen)'. This is truly delicious! A classic bowl filled generously with garlic-punched minced meat and crisp chives. The tingling spiciness is addictive, and my hand scooping the soup won't stop. It's a 'rice-thief ramen' that you'll want to shovel down with white rice (lol). The customer service is very simple. The response from the woman who looked like a part-timer was polite, and the man believed to be the owner was quietly wielding his wok in the kitchen behind the counter. For those who like Taiwanese ramen, given the scarcity of specialty shops, the existence of such a place is something to be very grateful for. It lacks flashiness, but has a taste and atmosphere that make you want to return without getting tired of it. By the way, the 'Taiwanese Mazesoba' and 'Fried Rice' are also extremely delicious. It's a place like that, and I hope it continues for a long time.
View on GoogleChicken Karaage with heaps of green onions 790 yen Gyoza 400 yen Taiwanese Sausage 500 yen The day I went solo-drinking in Takatsuki quite a while ago ✌🏾 While wandering around wondering if there's any good place, Oh, there's Taiwanese cuisine! Attracted by the town-chuba (town Chinese restaurant) storefront, I entered 🦵🏾🦵🏾 I could relax in the spacious interior, and I fell in love with the too-clear-to-understand menu name of Karaage with heaps of green onions 🫰🏾🫰🏾🫰🏾 I feel like I ate Taiwanese sausage for the first time, but it's seriously the ultimate drinking snack pattern where the more you chew, the better it gets 🤝🏾 I like izakayas, but I love this kind of drinking style too! It's a total mystery why I didn't eat Taiwanese ramen, so let's go eat Taiwanese ramen again 🦵🏾🦵🏾🦵🏾🦵🏾
