Great location and amazing food at a good price
View on GoogleA popular udon restaurant in Takatsuki. I went around 1:30 PM on a Saturday, but there was still quite a line, which shows how popular it is. The interior is quite large and has plenty of seats, so the turnover rate seems relatively good. This time I ordered their signature dish, "Suisha Udon." It had the smooth, easy-to-swallow noodles characteristic of Sanuki udon, making it very easy to eat. It was a luxurious and highly satisfying bowl filled with various toppings like tempura, tamagoyaki, grilled mochi, and chicken. I bought ohagi (sweet rice balls) as a souvenir, and this was also delicious, cheap, and highly satisfying. It's a restaurant whose popularity is well-deserved.
View on GoogleStopped by for lunch on the way back from Imajuku Kofun. I think it was around 1 PM, and there were a lot of customers when we entered, so I guess it's a popular shop. It wasn't particularly cold, but I was drawn to the nabeyaki udon and ordered it. Since it's Sanuki udon, it had wonderfully chewy, hearty noodles along with various toppings, and it was truly delicious. However, I felt like it might be a little expensive? Next time I visit, I'd like to try the tenkama udon. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleUsed it around 2 PM on a Saturday. Ordered the Ten-soba set meal, with a mix of soba and thin udon. The soba lacked any soba aroma. The thin udon was delicious. The tempura wasn't fried very crisp.
View on GoogleThe atmosphere was very nice. However, for the price, it's disappointing. Nice exterior and interior appearance. When you step into the shop, there's a pleasant aroma of tatami. Full of expectations, I ordered the curry udon with toriten (tempura chicken). Extra-large toriten. Just because it's huge doesn't mean it's good. The taste had an odor that bothered me, and I'm sorry, but I didn't eat the toriten. The curry udon was delicious. I wish I had taken a picture. The palm-sized toriten was shocking.
