Without a shadow of a doubt this is the best mochi I've ever had. I went back for seconds!
View on GoogleA wagashi shop just before Kashida Tunnel on the Hirakata–Kameoka prefectural road. I stopped here for a break on my way from Takatsuki to Kameoka. A wide selection including various strawberry daifuku, sakura mochi, uiro, and more. There's no parking lot, so I guess the way to stop by is on foot or by bicycle? No bike rack. Electronic payment accepted. However, there's a minimum purchase of 2 items.
View on GoogleI come here mainly by motorcycle and sometimes by car. Along with the delicious wagashi, they always serve you with a smile, which cheers me up too. Since it's in the mountains, it's good for a break during touring, cycling, or driving, and maybe also for souvenirs for family or close friends🚲️🏍️🚙 For cars and motorcycles, there's a dedicated parking lot right after you exit the tunnel, so park there But when leaving the parking lot after you're done, the tunnel is close, so please be careful, especially by car. If you come as two people, it might even be good to have your partner guide you out.
View on GoogleThe most fragrant and rich yomogi mochi I've ever had. The tsubuan had an elegant sweetness and was delicious too. The mitarashi had just the right sweetness of glaze and was satisfying. There's a parking lot, but cars with low ground clearance probably can't make it. There's a toilet in the parking lot.
View on GoogleFor parking, use the 🅿️ behind the shop (tunnel side) or a spot on the mountain side just before the shop where the road widens, where you won't be in the way ※See the last (4th) photo PayPay was accepted for payment What I always buy is the "yomogi mochi" plus various things depending on the season Personally, I've never had a miss so far There are tables and chairs on the premises so you can eat there too They also sell drinks If you register on LINE, it's convenient and you get deals The location, like a teahouse on a mountain pass, is also nice
