The Japanese staff here is really good at English. When I arrived and didn’t know what to choose, he guided me very kindly. I felt like I was actually talking to an American.

I came after looking it up online. It's very close to JR Takatsuki Station; I found it right after passing through Apita. You order at a ticket machine, and the "call" typical of Jiro-style shops can also be done on the ticket machine, so even beginners can order with peace of mind. This time I ordered the tonkotsu shoyu ramen, medium (extra veggies and extra fat, regular garlic, 300g noodles, 1,150 yen). The veggies were crisp and the seasoning was on the lighter side. The noodles were thick and chewy, really filling. It came with 2 thick slices of roast pork, so it's very hearty. There are plenty of tabletop condiments, and you can get mayonnaise if you ask, so you can change up the flavor to your liking. I enjoyed changing up the flavor with ramen tare and ichimi.

Went for lunch on a weekday. Was there an event today? The 26th is Kinjiro Day, a lucky coincidence lol If you add them as a friend on LINE, it's 800 yen!! So I signed up and got the ramen. Plus, 3 sheets of nori or a glass of oolong tea? I chose the 3 sheets of nori. ・Ramen (small) noodles 225g The medium size was listed as 330g I can't handle over 300g, so I went with (small) Extra veggies! Garlic on the light side. The noodles are extra-thick, cooked firm, and super chewy! The soup leans toward the light side, I think. 3 slices of chashu, big and thick. It was pretty delicious. I'd like to come back here again. My husband told me it's recommended for Jiro-style beginners, so I visited for the first time. It was just before 8 PM on a Saturday and I got in without waiting, but by the time I left a line had formed, which showed how popular it is. When I walked in, a female staff member greeted and seated me with a smile, which really touched me. The atmosphere made it easy to go in even as a woman on my own◎ I'd heard you write your order on paper, but now it's changed so you pick your customizations on the ticket machine, so I panicked a little…! What I ordered: ・Ramen small (¥980) └ Extra veggies, extra fat, extra garlic └ Sliced cheese (¥100) On the table there's ichimi, white pepper, vinegar, kaeshi, and spicy miso, and if you ask you can also get mayonnaise or garlic mayo. The bowl arrived about 7 minutes after I got my ticket. The hearty, chewy noodles were addictively good, and the chashu was on the firm side! Changing up the flavor with lots of garlic mayo was the best, and I kept adding more☺︎ In the kitchen the owner was making the ramen, while 2–3 staff members carefully handled service and prep. I could see them working hard while being trained. A beginner-friendly shop with no "call" needed, and the staff are warm too. I'd like to come back. I was stuffed and very satisfied!
