Udon noodle restaurant

★ 3.7989 reviews

Marugame Seimen places a noodle-making machine in every one of its shops nationwide to make fresh noodles from flour, then boils them on the spot to deliver that freshly boiled taste. Because "fresh udon is so delicious it's moving." This is something Marugame Seimen's founder experienced firsthand at a noodle mill in Kagawa, the home of sanuki udon. Good udon absorbs water well, and when boiled just right, gives off a lovely aroma of wheat flour, like rice that has just finished cooking.

The staff was friendly and the udon noodles were delicious but the tempura was a little bit greasy.

Used takeout for the first time. The store is extremely crowded due to Golden Week, but takeout can be bought with almost no wait, so this is also an option. The taste is naturally the same as the store so I enjoyed it. Reheating is a hassle, but knowing I can eat Marugame at home makes it very recommended. The staff also had snappy responses which left a good impression.

Chose this because the child said they wanted to eat udon. It was 12:00 on a weekday, but there was no queue, just waited a little bit, and we were able to sit at a table normally. However, the person in front struggled with payment and it took time, and looking behind, the queue had gotten a little long. Being able to put as much green onions as you want was like that before, but being able to put wakame seaweed too is nice. Of course the udon is delicious, and this time I ordered sweet potato tempura, and it had sweetness and was very delicious.

First Marugame♪ Deliciousness living up to the rumors, it was yummy. Makes sense why there's a queue even around 2 PM on a weekday. But what surprised me even more was the good in-store operation! Division of roles is precise, and it's fun to watch. The staff is also cheerful and gives pleasant customer service. The person frying tempura gives you freshly fried ones even if there are some left, wanting you to eat delicious things. Recently with labor shortages and employee markets, service in restaurants has terribly declined, but major chains have systems for that so from now on major chains might be more pleasant to eat at. The core noodles are also chewy and yummy! Can eat endlessly. Green onions, tenkasu, and flavor-changing goods are also substantial! Fun to watch, fun to choose, pleasant customer service, deliciousness - it has all four boxes checked. Since it's on the premises of Joshin Denki, parking is not a problem either, and coming to this neighborhood almost certainly means Marugame! Turnover is also fast! It was my first Marugame, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!! 781
