I visited the shop in February! The fresh chiffon cake I ate in the stylish interior lined with miscellaneous goods was truly rich and moist, a chiffon cake unlike any other and I completely fell in love with it💖 And the cookies served with tea were so delicious, I bought a can of cookies to take home while I had the chance!🍪 Enjoying various kinds from 3 types of rice flour cookies to 3 types of wheat cookies, ranging from crumbly-soft to crunchy, the cookie tin was so satisfying 💯💮 The staff have great personalities and I completely understand why this is a shop you'd want to keep visiting 😊 I will visit again 🥰

When I came to shop at Hankyu around Christmas last year, I found and bought the cookie tin. (I also wanted the tin) Around 3800 yen. It is said to be made with rice flour. It looks cute, but the cookies were shockingly hard. Since there were many kinds included, I thought, "Is it just that one?" But most of the cookies had a hardness I had never experienced before. According to the shop staff, the hard type is the concept. (I found out later) For someone like me who didn't even know that store-bought cookies could be that hard and had never encountered it, it was a shocking hardness, and I thought it would be difficult for elderly people and small children to eat. I couldn't eat it myself as I don't like hard things, and had my husband eat it, but even my husband who likes hard things said this was way too hard. Also, the lid of the tin was slightly deformed and didn't close properly without holding it down. Since I wanted the tin, seeing me a bit upset, my husband went and exchanged just the tin for me. It was good that they handled it, but he was told that some deformation during manufacturing is normal (unavoidable). It left me feeling with mixed feelings.

They have a booth at Takatsuki Hankyu. I bought plain, Earl Grey, and orange chiffon cakes. The photo is the orange one. It was delicious, but only in the Earl Grey one, I crunched on an eggshell. That's the only disappointing part. Last time it was on the 4th floor event space, but this time they had a booth on the B1 floor. I bought the Takatsuki Hankyu limited flower chiffon cake, blueberry. Cheese chiffon cake with blueberry cream, decorated with blueberries, mint, and edible flowers after ordering. When eating it, the chiffon cake is a bit hard, or rather firm. There is no fluffy feeling. The edible flowers tasted a bit sweet when chewed.

It's my favorite chiffon cake shop. The mouthfeel is very light and refreshing. It's a texture you won't find anywhere else. You can eat it in the cafe ☕️ at the shop, but since there are few seats, I think it would be helpful to the staff if you made a reservation.

Since the business hours and operating days per month are listed on the official Instagram, I strongly recommend checking that before going. It's a shop with truly delicious chiffon. I think it's worth going even from far away!
