A コロッケ shop I had been curious about for a long time. There is no parking. I went on foot. There is a menu on the sign, but inside there are also many items, including meat. This time I ordered コロッケ, メンチカツ, and 牛すじコロッケ that was on special. The コロッケ was 60円, the メンチカツ 100円, and the 牛すじコロッケ, as shown in the photo, was on special for 100円. The owner fries them after you order. There are about 5 chairs inside, where I waited about 8 minutes. The owner is very nice. I went with my young son, and he spoke kindly to him. My son was very happy, too. He put the freshly fried food in a white bag, then into a plastic bag with handles. We had them for dinner after getting home. The コロッケ was unbelievably delicious and satisfying for 60円, offering excellent value. The filling was not too sweet, and my wife liked it. The メンチカツ is also very high quality. It is addictive. On another day I bought the チーズメンチカツ for 150円, and it had plenty of cheese and tasted unbelievably good for 150円. Both were meaty and close to the best メンチカツ I have ever eaten. The 牛すじコロッケ did not have a particularly noticeable beef-tendon character, but tasted very good. One concern is that the oil seemed rather dark. As I kept eating, the oil felt a little heavy. Still, the flavor is very good and the prices are very low for these times, so even taking that into account, I think it offers good value. Looking into it, it seems you can also buy them uncooked, so anyone concerned about the oil could try frying them at home. As other reviews say, the owner is very kind, and this is a shop I want to visit repeatedly. 60円 for コロッケ is truly cheap. They are substantial, too, and I think they would cost at least 100円 elsewhere. The メンチカツ is absolutely outstanding. You rarely get this much meatiness for 100円. I gave 4 stars because of the oil, but everything else deserves more than 5. I will definitely buy from here again. I am rooting for you. Thank you.
