It seems like the shop has been around for quite a while, but the interior was clean and relaxing. I ordered the chicken cutlet curry (750 yen) My husband ordered the hamburger steak curry (800 yen). The green salad (200 yen) came out right away first, and then 10 minutes later the delicious-looking curry arrived. Both were super spicy, but it was a level of spiciness where it just tingled a little bit and could be eaten normally. Co○Ichi's level 1 spicy might actually be spicier. I ordered the regular portion, and my husband ordered the large portion. The large portion is 1.70 yen extra and seems to be 1.5 times the size. It was cool when we went in, but by the time we finished eating, I sweat a little from the spiciness of the curry. I think I'll drop by again next time I go hang out in Takatsuki.
View on GoogleI had the plain curry, medium spicy (500 yen) + cheese (100 yen) + eggplant (100 yen). The spiciness is weaker than I thought. There are no flaws whatsoever, but at the same time, I couldn't find any standout points. You could say that's important for chain restaurants, but I feel like I wanted one more punch.
View on GoogleEven though it smelled nice... The taste was just average! The atmosphere of the shop is good, and the customer service is good too.
View on GoogleJust like 20 years ago, the shop lacked energy. Even the super spicy one isn't spicy.
View on GoogleI ate this because a curry lover recommended it as delicious. It was a curry with a deep, fruity sweetness and spices that brought out aroma and spiciness, with a flavoring that somehow brought back nostalgic memories of my youth. I liked the croquette topping as it had a sweet, flavorful, and nostalgically delicious taste. I also had the loin cutlet, and it was fried skillfully so that it was piping hot and crispy, which went very well with the rice and curry.
