The udon here is delicious. The lunch sets are very reasonable as well. It’s the perfect spot for lunch if you are in the Takatsuki City Hall area.

Curry udon from Aged Udon Ichi-go Ichi-men The balance of soup stock and spices was good, the first bite is sweet and then the spices kick in later, that sweet and spicy feel was a bullseye for me. The toppings on top are abundant with toriten, maitake tempura, and hot spring egg, making it very filling. The toriten was piping hot right out of the fryer and extremely delicious. The maitake tempura was also good. The noodles were of course deliciously made with carefully selected aged noodles, and the feeling of them harmonizing well was top-notch. Sometimes it closes early because it sells out, so I want to go when I can and enjoy Ichi-go Ichi-men.

I ordered udon at lunchtime at "Ichi-go Ichi-men". The noodles are thick and have a chewy texture, with the umami spreading with every chew. The dashi is clean and has an elegant sweetness. The burdock tempura and chikuwa tempura were also crispy, and the volume was spot on. There are also plenty of seasonal menu items, so no matter how many times you come, you can encounter new flavors.

I ate hot udon during the hot season. The noodles are a little thick, but they seem to go well with cold udon. I didn't really like the dashi soup stock. And the tempura was extremely delicious. Domestic chicken thigh, filling shrimp! I couldn't help but say out loud that this is wonderful. You can eat with peace of mind. Next time I'm looking forward to going for cold udon
