View on GoogleI visited 2 hours before closing, but there wasn't a single customer. When I tried to sit at a window seat, I was told "Please use this seat instead" and made to sit at the very edge of the counter, which felt cramped. I should have left the store at that point, but I could see the kitchen from my seat, and a female staff member kept touching and readjusting her hair over and over as if she couldn't help worrying about it. That female and the male cooking food were chatting away in the kitchen without masks the whole time, and I was worried whether spit might be flying onto the food. Also, since she touched her hair over and over, I couldn't help worrying whether she brought food out without disinfecting those hands. The food wasn't delicious either, and the shiitake mushroom skewers were pitiful things like fragments.
View on GoogleEvery dish was exceptional. The "Assorted Sashimi", which was especially recommended, featured fresh fish beautifully arranged, and with every bite, the rich flavors of the sea's bounty could be enjoyed. Also, the "Charcoal-Grilled Yakitori" was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the aromatic charcoal smell was irresistible. "Assorted Tempura" had crispy batter enhancing the deliciousness of the ingredients, and I could thoroughly enjoy it freshly fried and piping hot. Tempura made with seasonal vegetables was particularly delicious, letting us feel the season. Furthermore, the "Dashi Rolled Omelette" was fluffy with a firm dashi flavor, and an elegant taste spread through the mouth. The high quality of the ingredients stood out in every dish, and you could feel they were made with care. Overall, high quality of food, in the calm atmosphere of "Hachikin Hanare Takatsuki Branch", made it the perfect place to spend a special time. It's a wonderful restaurant that makes you want to visit again.
View on GoogleFirst attempt while trembling at Google's recent reviews. To conclude, it wasn't as bad as harshly criticized in reviews, and I'd say it has at least 3 stars. Since it was the middle of a 3-day weekend, the restaurant was about 90% full, but both kitchen and floor staff were present and things seemed to be running smoothly. While many dishes tasted delicious, there were also a few misses here and there. The signature thigh grill was unquestionably delicious. However, the cartilage karaage had no flavor, tasting only of batter and oil, completely unsuited as a drink accompaniment, and couldn't be finished till the end. The grilled rice ball was also torched too much, turning hard, dry, and bland in taste. Order mistakes happened slightly. Well, this much happens no matter which restaurant you go to... is what it is, but handwritten paper orders still make you feel uneasy. Having drunk a fair amount of alcohol, the bill came to quite a sum. I can't call it a good restaurant with great cost performance and delicious food, but I thought the contents were definitely acceptable.
View on GoogleThey serve very delicious yakitori. Whatever you eat, there are no misses. Since it's a shop that tends to be crowded, it gives a somewhat restless impression. Making a reservation ensures you can get in.
