Gohanya Yohei is truly wonderful, having a homely warmth while everywhere showing careful craftsmanship from ingredient selection to cooking. The charm of this restaurant lies above all in the high quality of its main dishes. Whether you choose grilled fish, simmered fish, or deep-fried dishes, the goodness of the ingredients is fully utilized, and the seasoning is exquisite. In particular, the heat control for fish dishes makes me admire it as true professional skill. And it is worth noting that the side dishes, such as small side bowls and miso soup that complement the mains, are made with equal care and without any shortcuts. These are not mere accompaniments, but are served as delicious "proper" dishes in their own right, allowing you to experience the ideal form of Japanese home cooking here. The interior is clean and has a calm atmosphere. Added to that is the warm hospitality of the owner, allowing you to relax and enjoy your meal to your heart's content. All in all, it's a restaurant that always comes to mind when you want to savor "delicious rice" without putting on airs. They offer high-quality food at reasonable prices, and the post-meal satisfaction is extremely high. I think it is a famous restaurant packed with the joys of the Japanese dining table.

A long battle, to the point of forgetting the reservation date (lol) A gathering with former workplace colleagues. Everyone came eagerly waiting and thoroughly enjoyed the many brilliantly crafted dishes (I've been coming for over 10 years, and the same dishes are never served). In any case, it's delicious. And while strictly noting the time limit, sharing one after another <boastful stories> and <future plans>, receiving cheers from colleagues... Feast for the mouth, feast for the eyes, etc., a blissful moment filling the heart as well. Thank you very much.

I've been curious about it for a long time as a local restaurant where reservations are hard to get. Visiting for the first time, you can use the space leisurely and enjoy a relaxing meal while feeling a sense of extraordinary escape. The menu has only about 3 courses. The dishes served change once a month. Creative dishes, each with an extra touch of effort, line up. Though reservations are hard to get, a recommended point is that the price is quite reasonable at around 4,000 to 8,000 yen. I heard reservations changed from phone reservations to LINE reservations.

It was worth the year and a half wait. I thoroughly enjoyed all the creative dishes! The matcha at the end was a great finishing touch!
