My first conveyor belt sushi experience! The prices were very reasonable and the dishes were of great variety. I wanted to try the whale bacon but it never came out; I could’ve asked for it but I didn’t want to bother. Everything I got was delicious, but my friend got a bad tuna that might’ve been sitting out for a while. We also saw a couple sushi dishes that looked a bit sad/old, so it seems they just tend to leave all the plates on the conveyor for as long as possible. The chef who was making the sushi rolls was also very helpful, as we were sitting right in front of him when he noticed we tried to grab a fresh one he made but couldn’t really reach, so he passed it to us. If he hadn’t, we would’ve had to wait for the sushi to make the entire round around the restaurant and by then it might’ve been snatched up. They also provide two types of green tea at the table, or just hot water. The wasabi pot is on the conveyor so there isn’t an individual wasabi pot at each seat.
View on GoogleVery unfriendly experience in Japan. Typical japanese sushi restaurant where you have to call the cook what you want. I called the cook wearing glasses and he screamed at me to wait with anger. I was shocked. Is this Japan? Hell I am paying money to be comfortable right? I went there 5 or 6 times but this time is my last. I am never going there or recommend to anyone.
View on GoogleTypical japanese conveyor sushi place. Teh quality of food is so so. But to eat the dish you want, you have to ask the clerk to make the sushi instead of simply picking up from the conveyor. And it takes time. Newer conveyor sushi places like Kira sushi will be easier experience for the foreigners.
