While strolling around Takatsuki, I happened upon this warm, cute little shop, and the food turned out to be amazing. The pasta was absolutely outstanding! It was my first time having such charming "wok hei" in a simple sauté; the heat was controlled flawlessly, and the ingredients were deeply flavored and full of layers—definitely number one in my book for sautéed pasta. The coffee was mellow and smooth, with no bitterness and balanced acidity, and the finish even carried a faint tea aroma—very unique. Enjoying it with dessert, I spent an incredibly comfortable and soothing afternoon. It's a heartwarming artisan shop. A warm, cute shop I found by chance while strolling around Takatsuki. The quality of the food far exceeded my expectations, in a good way. The pasta was especially wonderful! The peperoncino, finished with perfect heat control, had a fragrant aroma like "wok hei (鑊気)," and the umami of the ingredients soaked into every single strand of pasta. Without a doubt, the most delicious I've ever had. The after-meal coffee also had no bitterness and a mellow acidity, making it very easy to drink. A gentle, floral tea-like aroma spread through the aftertaste, and it paired perfectly with the dessert. I spent a blissful moment that soothed both body and soul. A place where I felt a warm artisan spirit, and one I'll definitely visit again.

View on GoogleA restaurant my wife and I had been talking about going to for a while. A few days ago I tried to reserve online but couldn't, and today I happened to have an errand in Takatsuki, so we went without a reservation. We arrived around 11:20 and waited in front, and a little before opening they called us in. I found out later that apparently everyone except us had a reservation, so I recommend reserving when you visit. You can choose from 2 dishes, and this time I had the "curry cream doria." This was seriously delicious! I rarely get to eat curry doria, so it felt fresh. The after-meal dessert was also very delicious. By the way, if you order hot coffee, they grind the beans right there and serve you drip coffee. Thank you for the meal. I'll be back.
View on GoogleA good restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices. My recommendation is the small shrimp in américaine sauce with omelet. Today I came for lunch, and the main with salad, soup, and dessert for 1100 yen is a great deal. Understandably, since it's been 20 years since it opened, it's a shame the facilities have aged. A place I want to keep coming back to.
View on GoogleI was looking for a good lunch spot near "Kamoshika Zakkaten," a lovely tableware shop I recently found on Instagram and have visited a few times, and I came across this place. I called to reserve for 12 o'clock and arrived 10 minutes early to a "Full" sign. The counter seats were already taken, so we got a table in the back. Glad I reserved. They'd put out a cute reservation plate😺 For lunch you could choose between doria and pasta, but there was only 1 doria left, so we ordered the doria and the pasta and my daughter and I shared. The doria's white sauce was simple but genuinely authentic, the rice underneath had a ketchup flavor that wasn't overpowering—gently, faintly sweet—and the prosciutto and boiled egg fillings went really well together. Taking a hot mouthful made me so happy—it's a taste I'll surely crave again. The takana and mushroom pasta was also delicious, with all sorts of flavors and textures to enjoy. As for the salad in the set, the dried onion and crouton toppings were a great accent, so I'm guessing the chef's whim salad on the à la carte menu is good too. I'd like to try it someday. Dessert was French toast with ice cream—crispy, fluffy, and melty, delicious too! The coffee cup was lovely as well. With soup included, 1200 yen is quite reasonable. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the cork on the walls left an impression. Things calmed down after 1 o'clock, but the doria is popular and seems to sell out quickly, so I recommend coming early😊
