The road in front of the shop is one-way, so you have to go around and enter from the back!!! Considering the meat quality and price, it was quite good! I ordered meat that wasn't too fatty, and it was just right and easy to eat! Salt tongue is recommended!
View on GoogleA meat shop in Takaishi [Sumibiyaki Yakiniku Sona] Best cost performance with huge portions!! Taste is super satisfying and the meat is pristine, I keep coming back over and over. ………………………………… What I had today: ♥ Premium Yakiniku Assortment (2–3 servings) Salt tongue, sirloin, hire-shita (fillet underside), triangular flank, premium lean meat Grilled vegetables, chisha (lettuce), kimchi assortment Garlic oil or moyashi namul ¥6,800 ♥ Raw senmai (beef tripe) ¥650 ♥ Wagyu yukhoe ………………………………… The portions of the assortment and yukhoe were huge, and it tasted delicious—super satisfying! A place you'll want to visit again and again.
View on GoogleA yakiniku restaurant attached to a butcher shop. The parking lot is a bit narrow. Inside, there are private rooms, and it's surprisingly spacious—so much so that you wouldn't expect it from the entrance. You take off your shoes at the foyer to go up. It's net-grilled, but smoke-free, so neither smoke nor smell is bothersome. I ordered the premium yakiniku assortment, and both the portion and meat quality were faultless. Delicious! The staff moved briskly and had smiles on their faces. It's probably among the top one or two best restaurants in Takaishi City. For three people it was 15,000 yen, about 5,000 yen per person, which I think is great value for money. The only drawback is maybe that you can't change the flavor profile much. Only salt was provided on the table. At 6:30 PM on a Monday, 60% of the seats were filled, which is understandable for its popularity. Making a reservation is better. At the end of payment, I got a blueberry gum. I chewed one for the first time in a while. Also, when I went, the customer base was calm and quiet. Revisited in 2025. Correction: There was a spacious parking lot further back behind the shop. There was no salt on the table.
View on GoogleHad the famous yakiniku from Araki-mura 🙋 Overall, the meat was tender, the tongue was thick with a maximum sense of volume 😅 and I was moved. The meat flavor is top-notch. Their stone-grilled bibimbap is famous, you know. Reservations are recommended. The restaurant quickly filled up to capacity. Both the dining area and restrooms were properly clean, and the staff are polite and kind. Takaishi's renowned yakiniku restaurant❗️ You definitely have to taste Sona's flavors ☺️
View on GoogleMeat quality is top-notch & delicious!! The parking lot can be entered from both the old Route 26 and the one-way street alongside the shop, and the fact that it's spacious is really helpful, right!
