The place overall looks a bit too grubby. The ramen was so-so. I'm not one for dissing on places to eat at but if all the neighboring ramen places are closed and you just really had to have your noodle fix, I think it would be better to make your own at home than maybe dine in this shop.

There are many ramen shops around this area and it has been here for a long time, but I had never been to the Iekei ramen shop "Kenheiya" Although Iekei ramen shops have been increasing quite a bit recently, this place has been here for several years but it's my first visit 🍜 Anyway, since it's the first time, I chose "Tonkotsu Shio" for 920 yen 😁 Written on the ticket vending machine "Mini rice free all day and refillable as much as you like" ?! When I sat down, Thick noodles or thin noodles, noodle firmness, flavor richness, amount of oil Would you like to add mini rice? I was asked and this time I want it a little light Thin noodles, firm, richness normal, oil normal Of course mini rice too 😁 Rice with ramen is a must for Iekei 😋 Garlic, doubanjiang, ginger, pickled cucumber Flavor-changing items too 👍 I steadily refilled my mini rice lol Being able to refill rice just with the ramen price is appreciated! As expected of a student town 👍

A Yokohama Iekei ramen shop located in Kandai-mae, a fierce ramen battleground. Right in the immediate vicinity is a super famous Iekei ramen shop in Osaka. Ordered Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen with all preferences normal. In addition, rice (small) is free. Generous to be free in this day and age. After all, it's essential to grab the stomachs of college students. Many Iekei ramen shops have strong flavors (salty), but this shop has just the right balance. True to Iekei style, the noodles are short and have volume. In the second half, put the ginger at the seat to make it refreshing. Although it's a low-rated shop, there are many young people inside and it's lively. I wondered if the low rating is compared to a certain shop nearby.

It is an Iekei ramen shop located at the 7th location right out from the east exit of Hankyu Senri Line "Kandai-mae Station". Since there is no parking lot, I parked at a nearby bowling alley called Futaba Bowl. The interior has counters and tables. Purchase meal tickets at the vending machine inside and take a seat. Rice is free and refillable as much as you like, of course large portions are also free. You can choose between medium-thick noodles and thin noodles. You could order medium-thick noodles, and for kaedama (extra noodles) make it thin noodles. You can also choose the noodle firmness (firm, normal, soft), sauce amount (rich, normal, light), and oil amount (more, normal, less) to your liking. The soup, which can be chosen from soy sauce or salt, is a tonkotsu with a strong salty taste, and the first bite has a soft texture, but as you keep eating, it feels richer. When I got home my throat was thirsty and I drank a lot of water (haha) Tokumori Special has 3 chashu, a boiled egg, and 5 sheets of nori. The ramen had 1 chashu and 2 sheets of nori. Set negicha-don was slightly spicy and had a ton of rice. Spicy and makes you want to keep eating rice... I understood why there is a lot of rice (haha) Gyoza skin wasn't so hard and the filling was juicy and delicious. It's a recommended shop when you are hungry and want to eat heartily.
