A quite hidden Chinese restaurant near the Esaka station. There is a takeout corner and there is a dine-in area inside with ample seating space. I ordered their deep-fried chicken with oil (yuurinchi 油淋鶏) set and it has the usual rice and viand, some side vegetables and egg soup. You can add 150 yen to have a glass of beer as well. When I ate there the owner gave the guests there one free hot bread (mantao マンタオ) which was a nice gesture. I can drink there without the crowd of normal izakaya bars.

Working in Esaka for the first time in a while, I was all set to drink Chinese food at Ohsho, but unexpectedly it was closed... So I came here. I got the tipsy set with tofu salad and pork shabu-shabu (comes with one xiao long bao and one shumai each), gyoza, and mapo tofu. First, the tofu salad is huge. The mapo tofu a la carte was probably over 1000 yen and I thought it was a bit expensive, but the portion was about 1.5 to 2 servings. Many other a la carte items are also over 1000 yen, but they probably have large portions, so it seems good to go with multiple people and share. The shumai, xiao long bao, gyoza, and mapo tofu were unexpectedly delicious. The mapo has an ultra-spicy version, but even the regular one was quite spicy. The staff was a somewhat flashy guy, but his customer service was very polite and good. Because I ordered quite a few drinks, the price came out to close to 6000 yen, which was a bit unexpected lol

I didn't have much time during lunch, but after ordering, the lunch for 4 people came out really, really quickly 💦 Since it's Chinese food, I thought it would be fast, but it came out faster than expected, so I was a bit surprised, and it was a moment when I realized that this quick serving enhances satisfaction 😲 The taste of the food was of course carefully crafted, so it was delicious! I had an image of it being a bit bland, but the flavor was solid and filling! "Salt-flavored soft noodles with vegetable ankake sauce"...¥990

I got full on the weekend-only set meal. On the one hand, pepper steak, and on the other, shrimp in chili sauce 🦐. Both are delicious. Finished with refreshing almond tofu. Thank you for the meal 🙏

Visited during lunchtime. At lunchtime, it comes with coffee or almond tofu, which is a good deal. There are many lunch options under 1000 yen, and at most up to 1300 yen, so it feels easy on the wallet. As for the taste, it's normally delicious and I don't think you'll feel disappointed with lunch. Recommended when you come nearby.
