An overwhelmingly delicious mapo tofu that makes you understand why I've been a repeat customer for years. The combination of the minced meat's umami and melting tofu is top-notch, and the moderate spiciness is addictive. I'm impressed by how the piping-hot temperature, preventing it from getting cold, can be enjoyed all the way through.
View on GoogleThe restaurant is located about a 7-minute walk from Kansai University's Suita Future Campus. When I went at 1:00 PM on a weekday, there were 2 other groups of customers. Ordered menu: Sichuan Mapo Tofu Set 1150 yen The interior of this old-school town Chinese restaurant made me feel nostalgic! The mapo tofu had a slightly numbing and spicy feel to it, and it was delicious!
View on GoogleI visited for the first time in a while. It's delicious as expected. Not to mention the mapo tofu, the soup has solidly layered flavors, and the stir-fry is also delicious. Among the things that can be done in a small restaurant kitchen, the chef's ingenuity and care are expressed on the plate. I will visit again.
View on GoogleA restaurant run by an owner-chef who trained at numerous hotels and establishments. The owner-chef is friendly and always serves piping-hot, incredibly delicious food. The mapo tofu is recommended, but honestly, everything on the menu is a winner. Personally, I think you should try the chili shrimp and xiaolongbao. Even if it's a bit far in terms of location, it's a flavor that makes you want to eat it again!
View on GoogleMapo tofu is the best!! Sizzling in an earthenware pot. There is sweetness amidst the spiciness, and the large pieces of minced meat properly taste like meat. The fried chicken is super filling/voluminous!! There are plenty of set menus, and they are all delicious. Thank you as always for the delicious food.
