Located a 5-minute walk from JR Suita Station in the Asahidori Shopping Street, we are "Handmade Udon Urarakahana." Driven by our desire to serve delicious udon, we carefully select safe ingredients and make everything by hand. Our natural dashi broth relies on no chemical seasonings, luxuriously using Hokkaido kelp, bonito flakes, round herring, mackerel, and dried sardines. For our noodles, we uniquely blend domestic wheat flour, placing importance on a chewy texture, the right amount of firmness, and the fragrant aroma of wheat when chewed. Made fresh in-store every day.

What a nice way to know the real Japanese food culture. Staff is extremely nice, food is delicious and service is smooth and fast. We had lunch here and order noodles with chicken tempura and OMG that tempura egg was wow, best ever. It is a really good option to go if you are on your way to Asahi Beer Museum being really close, and also cheap option, you will walk out full. We d love to come back but is our last day in Osaka, thank you for today, arigatooo!!

Hand-made Udon shop now with English menu. I recommend hot Udon soup with えび (ebi / prawn). Owner is very nice and speaks a little English.

I visited "Handmade Udon Urarakahana" in Suita. The interior is full of the warmth of wood, creating a lovely atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal in peace. This time I had the "Ebi Ten Bukkake (Cold)". The moment it was brought over, the beautiful, glossy noodles caught my eye. While having a solid chew and firmness, they went down surprisingly smoothly. The large, freshly fried shrimp tempura had a crispy batter and plump meat. Eating this bowl refreshing with lemon and grated daikon was pure bliss. Additionally, during weekday lunch hours, they offer a wonderful complimentary "free iced coffee" (up to 1 cup per person)! Being able to take a breather with coffee after a meal is a unique charm of this place. There is also a 50 yen discount for students upon presenting a student ID, so it makes total sense that it's loved across generations. If you want to enjoy authentic udon in Suita, this is a must-visit spot!

A heartwarming udon shop with a cute, memorable exterior. It has an inviting atmosphere even for first-timers. This time, I ordered the signature "Tori Ten Udon" (chicken tempura udon). The udon noodles had great firmness and bounce, making for a well-balanced bowl overall. What left a particular impression was the chicken tempura. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and quite hearty in portion—the satisfaction level was very high. Good enough to justify coming just for the chicken tempura. Although I didn't get it this time, the free coffee service on weekdays is another great perk. Being able to relax after eating is much appreciated. A highly versatile, easy-to-use shop where you can casually enjoy delicious udon alongside quality side items.

I walked around killing time before the beer factory tour and found this place; they seem to make udon very properly. My companion had the hot udon and I had the cold udon; both were delicious and there was plenty of variety. Compared to the udon I had in Takamatsu, the price is just a tiny bit higher, but really only slightly, and the taste was great and very satisfying. There's an English menu so it's easy to order. For payment, just take your bill to the counter. Cash only, and there's a restroom inside.
