A sculpture museum inside Amenity Esaka. There aren't many works, but the lineup is impressive, including Rodin and Moore. There are outdoor sculptures around it too, and you can stroll the outer garden area for free. The inside of the building is paid, 600 yen for general admission. The atmosphere is really nice, and there's a café space where you can enjoy coffee or tea (with a mini sweet) for 400 yen (prices as of April 2025). I went on a weekday evening so there were few people (not sure about holidays), and I could take my time viewing in peace. Open 10:00–17:00. Very relaxing, feels like a hidden gem! Recommended.

Admission 600 yen They have things that look like Rodin's prototypes. A neatly maintained lawn. A gardener working hard even in the rain. No photos of the works allowed.

A museum of sculptures only, where you can leisurely enjoy a small, select collection of works. We visited on a Sunday, but there was no one else besides us, so we could take our time. Apparently you can also use just the café, where you can sit in George Nakashima's lovely chairs and drink coffee while gazing at the garden.

A museum of modern Western sculpture inside Amenity Esaka. The museum's name, "Sculpture," apparently means "sculpture" in French. First of all, its selling point is that the building itself is a work of art. Inside are works by sculptors whose names you've probably heard at least once, such as Henry Moore, Auguste Rodin, and Maillol. You can also go outside, and in the paid area a work by Marta Pan called "Broken Sphere" was on display. There are also art reference materials you can read for free, and you can have coffee or tea for 400 yen (café-only use is possible). (Highlights) ① All the contemporary sculptures in the park (including outside the museum). ② The building ③ Art books (Other) ● Free shuttle bus from Esaka Station (3 per hour) ● Admission 600 yen ● Parking available ● Barrier-free → ◯ (flat inside the building too) ● Restrooms available

Be careful, the location is hard to find. There's plenty of parking for cars and it's free for 4 hours. It's not flashy, but it's very calming. There aren't many works, but I heard they have good ones, so I went inside. It's true there aren't many, but there's also a park outside and such, and the aftertaste? is very nice. Inside there were several square windows. (Photos included) The scenery seen through the windows is like a framed painting. There may not be many museums with this level of comfort and calm. I'm sure I'll visit again.
