"Shumen Kisshan" near Esaka Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. It is a "Ramen Izakaya" where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine and ramen at the same time. Every menu based on Sichuan cuisine is a proud masterpiece. And the owner's carefully selected ramen has a rich lineup of over 20 types. It can be used widely from dining alone to large banquets. Eat, drink, and finish with ramen! Enjoy the new ramen x izakaya style!

Ordered dandan men and karaage, and I got a pretty good quantity for the price. The karaage is given with a slice of lemon and some salt on the side to suit your preferences. It was just made so at a great temperature ! The noodles had a very rich broth (maybe a bit much for me) and the portion was very generous. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, seems like a good place to go and have a good moment with friends.

An izakaya a few blocks away from Esaka station. There are few counter seats and some tables that can seat around a dozen. They specialize in ramen, which is really rare for an izakaya since making one takes time. But they manage to pull it with the help of two waitresses. The food is great and perfect for near-midnight grub albeit quite pricy, and the drinks are okay with a wide selection. But what I don’t like is what kind of customers they attract. The customers beside me have their shoes removed even though they are on a table. Guess the customers are way too at home at this restaurant. This is not a jab at the owner, just an observation.

A rare place that has spicy food open even after 9 PM ☺ It was smoking allowed and in a narrow counter so it was hard to eat leisurely 💦

It was a great deal at 3500 yen for 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink (last order 120 minutes) where you can choose your favorite food worth 1300 yen. There was also a slightly cheaper 90-minute all-you-can-drink. The food has volume, and all of them are delicious Chinese dishes. There is also motsunabe with finishing ramen that can be ordered even for one person, very satisfying. There are also course meals so it seems good for drinking parties etc. There is a wall-mounted TV in the store, and when there is a Hanshin game, customers are sometimes excited, so for those who don't like it, I recommend days without games. Bicycles can be parked in the building premises in front of the store, which is also appreciated. It seems popular and is often full, so it's probably smoother if you call before heading out. Places to drink with Chinese food in Esaka are decreasing so it's very helpful.

It's a slightly viscous tan-tan men where you feel the sesame sense. The soup has a solid spiciness, clings well to the medium-thin straight noodles and is very delicious. It's a taste I really like and I've been going all the time. Thanks for not raising prices in this day and age. As a non-smoker, it's a bit unfortunate that smoking is allowed, including during lunch.
