レッドホース オオサカホイールRedhorse Osaka Wheel
123m-high Ferris wheel offering expansive views over Osaka from spacious, glass-bottomed gondolas.
OSAKA WHEEL, the giant Ferris wheel that boasts the greatest height in Japan, is an entertainment facility located within "EXPOCITY" in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture. The view from its fully see-through gondolas makes it the ultimate spot to take in a grand 360° panorama of Osaka. It is a Ferris wheel that puts safety first, being the world's first to adopt a seismic isolation structure and the first in Japan to be certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. On the grounds, 100,000 LED illumination lights are permanently installed, brilliantly decorating the Ferris wheel after sunset. We offer plans for families, dates, and girls' nights out.

Tallest Ferris wheel in Japan providing panoramic views of the OSAKA EXPO 70 site. We didn't originally plan to come, but the EXPO sure was closed due to a Summer Sonic music festival. There was no line to get in, price was very reasonable. IIRC we paid a little under 1600 YEN per person including s beer! Oh and the cabins are air conditioned!
View on GoogleThis is a HUGE Ferris wheel! It was quite the view from the top as you could see for miles in all directions. Another good part about it is the fact that it was air conditioned. There is a place where you can buy drinks and take them with you as they have cup holders in the cars. There was nobody in line and we just walked in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are in the expo 70 area you have to try this if you want a great view of Osaka
View on GoogleWe took a ride on the Redhorse Osaka Wheel during Golden Week, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise! Despite the holiday crowd, the queue was very manageable—we booked online in advance, which helped us skip the line and head straight to the fun. We picked the Sakura-themed cabin, and it was adorable! There are actually several themed options available—some with karaoke, others with escape room games, and more. Such a fun way to personalize your ride! The entire ride lasted around 20 minutes, which felt just right. We went at 4 p.m., when the weather was perfect—bright but not too hot, and just right for photos. Some may find the themed cabin decor slightly obstructs the view, but it also adds to the mood, especially if you’re on a romantic couple trip. Totally worth it for the vibes! Drinks are included with the ticket—we tried both matcha and strawberry. They’re on the milky side, and sipping on a cold drink while enjoying a bird’s-eye view of Osaka made the whole experience feel extra special. ⸻ Booking Tip: While platforms like Trip.com, KKday, or Klook are great for quick bookings, they usually only offer standard cabins. If you want to try the special themed cabins, it’s best to book directly on the Redhorse official website. Heads up—it’s mostly in Japanese, so you might need to use Google Translate and go through a few more steps, but it’s totally worth it!
View on GoogleOne huge ferris wheel that took 18min to complete. Very stable with splendid view. Nicely done up interior with drink holders and charger for your phone. Transparent floorboard and ceiling offer 360 view as well.
View on GoogleA nice overview of Osaka. Since it is just right beside the Santa Maria cruise, we came right over after the cruise to board the ferris wheel. According to them, this is the largest ferris wheel in the world. The right itself was great. Once you reach the peak, you can have an amazing view of the entire city. We went at night and the view was marvellous.
