My first visit. It's far from the city center, so I came relying on map reviews. It's run by an elderly couple and has an old-established feel. I expected fluffy okonomiyaki like the reviews described, but it was like something made at home and I wasn't very satisfied. It was busy with regulars and alcohol is cheap, so it might be good as a neighborhood izakaya, but I'd advise against making it a sightseeing destination.

A renowned local place run by a married couple It may be crowded at lunchtime Both yakisoba and okonomiyaki are good value There are plenty of individual dishes too, so another attraction is that you won't get tired of visiting Just be aware the toilet is Japanese squat-style!

Okonomiyaki set, 830円. Too little sauce but lots of mayonnaise throws off the balance, which is sad😭 Maybe putting sauce on the table would help. The iron plate used instead of a dish was lukewarm too😭 Great value and absolutely filling; accepting PayPay and such is also👍️

I stopped by at 19 in the evening. I had ika tama okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and draft beer, but despite a griddle right in front of me, the okonomiyaki came on a plate, annoying😡 The sauce was already applied instead of letting me add it myself, irritating😡⚡ I ate thinking that the delicious part is having it piping hot while smelling the sauce cooking on the griddle, so it left me feeling........... Maybe it's good for people who want to eat quickly and leave. It's not an authentic specialist place; it felt like home cooking at my parents' house.
