A precious set meal and izakaya restaurant open for Sunday lunch around Toyotsu Station. Run entirely by one grandma, so do not have excessive expectations. The photo shows the daily set meal for 850 yen. The pickled daikon radish comes in 3 different types, showing attention to detail even in small things. However, the taste is a bit strong. It's a Showa-esque shop with modern prices, and nighttime izakaya prices get quite high. I'm debating whether to go back.
View on GoogleA shop run single-handedly by a cute grandma. I've never seen anyone order anything other than the daily set meal, but whatever you order is delicious. Almost every menu item is around 800 yen and voluminous, and the wait time until food is served is relatively short. If you don't mind the Showa-like atmosphere and a crowd consisting solely of regulars, I definitely recommend giving it a try at least once.
