Feeling a little hungry, I decided to visit Chojiro after a long time. This place is located in a residential area on the mountainside between Suita and Kishibe, somewhere you practically can't visit without a car. I came to Chojiro after a long while, and while the toppings are much better than Sushiro or Kura for a conveyor belt sushi place, the prices have really gone up. Also, regarding sharikoma, they split a machine-pressed ball of rice in half... Since it's a slightly higher-end conveyor belt sushi restaurant, I'd like them to be a bit more meticulous. Thank you for the meal.

A slightly upscale sushi chain restaurant. I think the quality of the tuna and salmon is no different from Sushiro, but since the raw fish toppings are large, they are very filling. Items that require a little extra work, like aburi (seared sushi), look quite nice as well. What bothered me was that if you're standing at the counter, it might be better to study a bit more on how to hold and handle a kitchen knife.

I'll skip talking about the food since everyone else has already written about it. Please look at the photo. Charging that unit price and making us eat in an environment like this is unacceptable. Is this a conveyor belt sushi place where cleaning is neglected? No way. Before posting here, I tried to contact headquarters, but the headquarters customer center had no way to send photos like this. Besides, you can't send photos over the phone, can you? If they clean up as soon as a complaint is made, they can just cover it up. I didn't have the luxury of matching the customer center's business hours. Also, I wanted to avoid back-and-forth email exchanges.

It costs more than expected, but it's delicious. It's quite empty on weekday afternoons. Not all toppings are equally delicious; some are big hits while others are just so-so, so it might be a good idea to choose seasonal items. The live-prepared seafood (ikizukuri) is definitely delicious and more reasonable than ordering at an authentic sushi restaurant, so it's recommended. Among the things we ordered this time, the sea urchin and live horse mackerel sashimi were delicious. The tuna sampler, sweet shrimp, and botan shrimp were just so-so. I ordered mantis shrimp, which is rare to find, but this one was a bit underwhelming.

I enjoyed lunch at Nigiri Chojiro Suita Haramachi. I ordered the "Nigiri Kurama (2,780 yen including tax)". It comes as a set with 9 pieces of sushi, chawanmushi, and red miso soup, making for a very hearty meal. The toppings were fresh and all delicious. The chawanmushi and red miso soup were also delicious, and the overall balance of the set was great, giving a sense of satisfaction. The interior is bright and clean, and at the counter seats you can experience the live action of the chef making sushi right in front of you. The staff's service was also polite, making it a cozy space. Within walking distance from JR Suita Station and equipped with a spacious parking lot, the location is easy to access by car. It gets crowded during lunch time, so visiting a bit early is recommended.
