very cute spot that is worth it! :)) seemingly fresh food with a menu that changes every day of the week, so it’s super special! (and every month) very worth it - a whole set meal for only 1100 yen and if you have a drink it’s extra 200 yen. you get 2 side dishes and a very filling miso soup. you will definitely be full. atmosphere is cafe music and the menu is so cute! (hand drawn and hand written) highly recommend!! wish we were in the area to try again on a different day.

Stopped here on a walk through the neighborhood looking for locals eats. A Japanese speaking friend helped us order off the set menu. We ordered a couple different sets and everything was tasty -- for us, as tourists, this felt like an authentic, casual lunch place with good comfort food. Staff was very patient with us and with our kids, which we were grateful for.

The side dishes of the weekly lunch set have an extra touch and are delicious! But maybe there are likes and dislikes in the doneness of 'white rice'? Maybe it was too soft for me.

Because there were always many bicycles, I went to the shop that made me curious. Lucky there was one empty table. There is a daily lunch set (main, rice, miso soup, 2 small side dishes) so I visited on Friday A Umaki and meat-stuffed eggplant tempura B Pork kakuni After worrying, I chose B. Rice and miso soup can be refilled. Rice is only one bowl. Kakuni has a well-soaked taste and soft meat. I refilled the miso soup. Potato salad as a small side dish is a bit disappointing but... I understand why it becomes popular. I want to eat other days too so there is a repeat. Thank you for the meal.
