I used to be able to go to Motoya occasionally, but after moving to Toyonaka, it became harder to visit. However, hearing that there was a 24th anniversary special course, I went back after a long time and thoroughly enjoyed the fish dishes. I think 6,600 yen (with one drink) for such a course is cheap.

Every single dish is prepared with extra care, making me very satisfied ♪ The oysters and sea urchin were extremely delicious. There were many ingredients from the manager's hometown of Shimabara, which gave it a unique touch. Of course the taste was good too. A must-return. It seems to be omakase course only, and reservations are required.

It's a restaurant that only serves omakase course meals about a 7-minute walk from JR Suita Station. True to its name "Fish and Local Sake Motoya", I was moved by dishes where the fish are carefully prepared and each flavor comes alive. What I had was a course meal for about 3,800 yen and 5 drinks. It came out to 6,500 yen per person. [Omakase course dishes on the day of visit] Edamame, junsai with sea urchin, lemon-flavored oysters, melt-in-your-mouth grilled eggplant, bonito, umaki, sashimi (the way the octopus is cut is skillful!), tempura (hamo and taro were delicious 🎵), salt-grilled nodoguro, hamo and oyster hot pot (a collaboration with lots of vegetables like burdock root, the broth was extremely delicious!), eel rice bowl with shiso tempura topped with sansho pepper, red miso soup. For this food and this price, it was very high quality and extremely satisfying. Fish lovers especially recommend it. I'd like to invite my parents.

Had the summer kelp grouper hot pot course. It had good volume and was wonderful. The selection of Japanese sake was also good. The chef is very kind.
