A takoyaki shop where you can eat in, not just take out The takoyaki are small-sized but cheap at 400 yen for 12, and okonomiyaki and yakisoba start from 400 yen too—a really cheap place The takoyaki taste old-school, or rather the slightly floury, chewy type. The octopus pieces are a decent size, and they're nice for a quick snack
View on GoogleOld-school konamon flavor. Lately there are many shops with takoyaki so watery you can't eat them with a toothpick, way too fussy and expensive on top of that. Taste aside, there are few everyday shops where even kids can buy. This shop's 10 for 300 yen is a fair price; some shops even sell 10 for 100 or 200 yen. To those shops that aren't that tasty but charge high prices: when it comes to Osaka, takoyaki is food for ordinary people, so please make an effort to offer it cheaply. By the way, prices have gone up 100 yen each.

View on GoogleI've been to over 100 okonomiyaki shops, and this is the best okonomiyaki shop in Kansai. Obachan, ookini as always, thank you.
