So many great magazines and the foods are delicious❤️
View on GoogleA cafe that feels more like a secret base than a hidden gem. Various genres of books lined the bookshelves, and every chair was a different type. It's a small shop with about five 2-person tables, but the distance from the next seat is sufficient. Located on the 1st floor of a quiet, chic black building, it was easy to miss and walk right past it. There is a coin parking lot right next door, and there is a discount service for purchases over 1000 yen. This time, after a disappointing breakfast nearby, I ended up here wanting to re-drink delicious coffee. As a result, the coffee re-do was a huge success☆ I ordered the caffe latte (450 yen) and my companion ordered the drip coffee [etoile] (500 yen). It is advance ordering and payment at the register at the entrance. (Cash only) The caffe latte is rich, the latte art is beautiful, and it's very delicious with just the right amount of bitterness. I had a sip of my companion's Etoile coffee, and it has a smooth mouthfeel with low acidity, and the aftertaste is slightly sweet, which is my taste. For 500 yen, it normally came in a pot for a refill and with cinnamon biscuits, so it's a good deal. The caffe latte was also filled to the brim in a fairly deep cup, so I definitely think it's a better value than cafes around Umeda. Also, the master's personality hit a bit of a sweet spot for me. He seemed quiet and shy in the back of the cash register, but when asked a question about the menu, he tried hard to answer. With the delicious home-roasted coffee brewed with dedication and the bookshelf lineup, he seemed like an interesting person even though we didn't talk much. Looking at Instagram posts, the desserts and hot dogs also look very delicious. Plus, it looks like you could spend hours quietly reading books. It became a favorite. It might be tough if it's too crowded next time I go, but I'm posting because I'd be in trouble if management becomes difficult due to COVID. Next time I want to go back for good coffee and some food menu.
View on GoogleThe cash register is located right at the entrance of the store, and you order before moving back to the seating area. I had the 700 yen drink and cake set. This time I chose the combination of caffe latte (350 yen a la carte) and pound cake. Jazz or classical music plays inside the store, and it is suitable for relaxing in a calm atmosphere. There are six 2-person tables, accommodating up to about 12 people. There are roasted coffee beans in the store, and when you order, they grind the coffee beans with a mill and brew the coffee. Caffe latte was brought with a nice latte art drawn on it. Pound cake was also delicious with a crunchy texture around the edges.
View on GoogleA specialty cafe! The item in the photo is the 890 yen cake set, this time it's coffee jelly parfait and iced coffee. First, order and pay at the entrance and sit in the inner seats. There were 5 two-person tables, with one customer ahead and another coming after. The shop is quiet and easy to spend time reading leisurely. The vanilla ice cream on top of the coffee jelly parfait is very rich in milk flavor and has a texture like mozzarella cheese, which was surprisingly delicious! Inside, there are mini cream puffs, mini daifuku cream, and various hidden characters like chocolate, etc. The small glass next to the jelly parfait is espresso, and they told me to pour it over the jelly as you like so you can refresh and change the flavor halfway through. Iced coffee was also authentic and delicious. The inside of the store smelled like spice curry, and I'd like to try hot dogs and other things next time. There is a coin parking lot next to the store.
View on GoogleManaged by a quiet master alone, so the food comes out a bit slowly, but both coffee and food are superb in taste. My wife is also a huge fan. For parking, park at the Mitsui's Repark next door and declare it to the master to get a discount ticket.
