West from Suita City Route 14 Kishebunaka 1 intersection, climbing toward Takeyayacho, there is a small building on the right with a parking lot in front of it. There is a bakery on the 1st floor, and this restaurant is unexpectedly overlooked on the 2nd floor. Honestly, it's not very noticeable and you'd normally just walk past it. As a store concept, young customers are probably not suitable, it's a chicken and Japanese food restaurant favored by middle-aged and older people. The atmosphere of the shop is very good, but not purely Japanese. Let's say it's a Japanese/Kappo restaurant with a slightly high-class izakaya & restaurant image. From the level of a general customer, I perceive it as a cheap, calm, hidden gem. Today I handed my business card to the waitress, and a man from the kitchen—maybe a chef or head chef… Showed interest in me and talked a little. Honestly, it would be normal for more customers to come at lunchtime to the point of making them wait. Something is out of sync. Maybe it's too unknown. There is a parking lot so it's worth enjoying lunch first. By the way, this lunch 'Aidori Teishoku'… Content reminds me of 'Shokado Bento' in Kyoto's long-established restaurants. ¥980 tax included If you eat at a restaurant on the top floor of a department store, it would probably be around ¥1500… Second visit. Aburi Chicken Oyakodon Set Meal ¥850 I think it's a reasonable menu that anyone can enjoy. Large rice available.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch. Since the restaurant name has chicken in it, the chicken was delicious. It looks like they have delicious-looking sake, so I'll visit at night next time.
View on GoogleHad the aburi oyakodon set meal (720 yen) for lunch. Comes with oyakodon, miso soup, a small bowl of okra, and pickles. On the egg carpet where the yolk is enthroned, aburi chicken peeks out here and there. The burnt part produces a good amount of bitterness, and when you break the yolk along the way, the creaminess goes up at once, and you can enjoy multiple faces in one bowl. The rice is thoroughly soaked with sauce, so you can shovel it straight to the end. The atmosphere of the shop is very calm, and you can relax slowly. Considering this kind of space, the cost performance for a lunch under 1000 yen is quite high.
View on GoogleIt was lovely in beautiful small bowls. Japanese food with horigotatsu. Might be good for a gathering at night……… The elaborate chicken dishes… were very delicious. The bonito broth of the miso soup was effective and deep 😊
View on GoogleYou can have lunch at an affordable price! Parking lot 🅿 is large! Located on the second floor of the bakery!
