A beer-loving sausage maker created a small beer hall called SARU BACON near Esaka Park 15 years ago. Amidst days of playing with minced meat, he looked up at the clearing sky and dreamed of a "minced meat house's western-style diner" where you could eat your fill, which is 36CHOPPERS! On March 2, 2026, it relaunched with a fresh new look!

I visited "36CHOPPERS" for Saturday lunch, which I had been curious about for a while. What I ordered was the Hamburger & 2 Fried Shrimp Set (Special Demi-Worcester). Apparently on Fridays and Saturdays you get 2 fried shrimp, which is quite a happy service. The hamburger is juicy and filling, and goes great with the rich special demi-worcester sauce. The crispy fried shrimp is also delicious, and dipping it in tartar sauce makes you eat even more rice. It was a more satisfying lunch than I imagined. Rice refills are OK, so it's also recommended for those who want to eat their fill (laughs). All the staff were very pleasant, and I had a pleasant time throughout. Food, volume, and customer service are all satisfactory. It's a restaurant I'd definitely like to visit again.

Visited 36 CHOPPERS in Esaka for lunch with my wife. Lately, perhaps due to Saru Bacon stopping lunch operations, the interior was quite crowded, giving the impression of acting as a receptacle for Esaka lunches. What makes me feel relieved every time I come here is the deliciousness of the rolled omelet (dashimaki tamago). The fluffy texture and strong dashi flavor remain unchanged, boasting a high degree of perfection that solidly supports the main side dish. This was a consistent dish this time as well. As for the tonteki, perhaps because it's conscious of rice bowl (donburi) menus, the seasoning is slightly stronger compared to Saru Bacon's tonteki lunch. Although it's under the premise of eating with rice, in terms of enjoying the umami of the meat itself or the savory aroma of grilling, personally I preferred Saru Bacon's tonteki lunch. On the other hand, the hamburger is extremely satisfying and very large, making it very filling. The compatibility with the cabbage covered in Japanese-style sauce is also good, and you can eat it to the end without feeling heavy. However, it's a bit disappointing that the boxed lunch (box lunch) that used to be there is gone. I definitely hope they bring it back.

Hamburger lover 😀 Of course Without hesitation, ordered the Hamburger Set Meal The hamburger here has A rich, sweet demi-glace Did they put honey in it as a secret ingredient? 🍯 That kind of richness A straw sandal-sized hamburger and Fluffy-melting omelet Furthermore, all-you-can-eat white rice Isn't that crazy? White rice served in a wooden ohitsu bucket! Awesome right Even before going, ordering the "Tonjiru pork soup that is definitely delicious" Was a confirmed order Tonjiru packed with ingredients is supreme Volume-packed hamburger set meal No wonder it gets popular

A restaurant famous for its large hamburger and rolled omelet. This time I luxuriously added fried shrimp as a topping. First of all, the hamburger sauce with sweet onion sauce is exquisite, and it's soft! Tamagoyaki is bouncy and has a strong dashi flavor and is delicious! Rice is also all-you-can-eat and I probably ate about 2 go of rice 🍚 The interior is also fashionable and the staff are friendly and energetic so it was very good! Next time I want to eat a different menu.

The hamburger was also very voluminous and easy to eat, the egg was an omelet and fluffy, and the cabbage was crisp and fresh. The ohitsu rice had a great rice feel to it and I ended up getting refills a lotu!!! Speaking in terms of service, If they made it around 1000 yen flat for a set meal It seems more customers would increase. As a result, coming back is a given so I want to go again.
