Cafe Nenem" in a residential area of Shimamoto-cho. A shop with a nice atmospheric exterior that blends into the calm cityscape. It looks like a stylish cafe, but is there actually no cafe space and it's takeout only? Tarts and baked goods are lined up, just looking at them lifts your spirits. The lineup is rich, from tarts using seasonal fruits to carefully crafted baked goods. Of course, bought as snacks for home, these are all sweets that would be appreciated as souvenirs. A little-known shop located in the middle of a residential area. It was a place I wanted to stop by when looking for sweets in Shimamoto-cho.

A baked goods and tea shop opened in December 2016. Run single-handedly by a friendly and cute female owner. Baked goods like quiche, tarts, and cookies can be enjoyed with tea from Oyamazaki coffee roasters or Nihoncha Gallery Okamura. Takeout only is also possible. It's built small like a home cafe, cute, and cozy. Depending on the timing, there are light meals of toast and cold sweets in summer. The tarts have a crispy crust and juicy, delicious fruit. Simple yet you can tell the goodness of the ingredients and that they are carefully made, finished with high quality. The quiche is also full of vegetables, filling, and delicious. Warming it in a toaster further increases the deliciousness. Nenem's baked goods occasionally make me irresistibly want to eat them, and I like them enough to go out of my way to visit. Since there are no other staff, please understand that serving may take time or close early. Also, since cafe operations are shortened, please be careful when visiting.

The first floor of a detached house is made into a cafe. The cakes here were very delicious. The drinks too. It seemed to be popular with locals, so I'm glad I had my cake put aside.

Nice friendly cafe that wants to be trendy. Possibility to buy cakes on site. It's cozy as desired and the prices are very fair!!

The atmosphere is good and the desserts, drinks, and takeaway sweets are all delicious, a cafe where the owner's love comes through ♡ I want to go again soon! Highly recommended!
