I'm really enjoying attending classes here. I've only been doing flamenco for about 3 years, but the teacher has taught me the deeper aspects of dance, guitar, and cante (singing). If you're doing flamenco in Osaka, I think this school is number one!
View on GoogleA few months have passed since I started happily learning cante (singing) & palmas (clapping). I'd lived a life with no connection to flamenco, but I can really feel the passion for flamenco from the teacher and everyone in the class, and I'm excited to be able to share in that world. Singing out loud and playing clapping rhythms feels great, but things like the techniques unique to flamenco seem to run deep for a beginner. The class is bright and fun, and the time flies by. Personally, I plan to be careful not to sit too long so I don't strain my lower back. I recommend starting with a trial lesson.
View on GoogleSince I started attending this flamenco school, my understanding of flamenco as an art has changed dramatically. I originally became interested in flamenco because I was drawn to the passionate atmosphere of its rhythms and melodies, but after actually learning cante (singing) and palmas (clapping), I've gradually come to understand that flamenco isn't just music or dance, but a culture that expresses "the very way people live." What's especially memorable are the expressive anecdotes the teacher shares between technical instruction. These stories, which you can only hear from a teacher who has interacted with world-renowned flamenco artists, are all deeply meaningful, touch the core of flamenco as an artistic expression, and make me even more interested in flamenco. Beyond musical insights, they carry implications that connect to one's outlook on life, giving me new perspectives. Even though I'm supposed to be learning flamenco, I find myself thinking about fundamental questions like "What is expression?" and "What am I conveying to people?" I feel this kind of experience is a very valuable kind of learning that goes beyond a mere hobby class. The atmosphere of the class is also warm, with a sense of safety where making sound, making mistakes, and trying things are naturally accepted. Thanks to that, I can learn every time in a relaxed yet focused way, and I've come to be able to sincerely enjoy my own small changes and growth. I feel the time spent learning at this school is not just about acquiring technique, but like a journey of gradually touching the spirit of flamenco. For those who want to feel the breadth of the world through music, or who want to touch the essence of expression, I think it will be a rich place to learn.
View on GoogleI got to hear lots of really fun and helpful stories about flamenco, and my knowledge has broadened. Since you can learn while actually experiencing the rhythm and live music firsthand, the world of flamenco keeps expanding for me, and these days I really feel I'm picking up not just the dance but also the singing and palmas. There are also chances to enjoy flamenco while having meals with fellow students, so my days feel really fulfilling.
View on GoogleI've been taking ゆるメンコ lessons twice a month since April. They teach the basics slowly, so even flamenco beginners can move their bodies to the music✨ They repeatedly teach you how to enjoy the music in the flamenco way, so I've gradually started to get it. The teacher explains things clearly and it's really fun. A class that makes you fall in love with flamenco☺️
