I always use JOCA through company connections. (Personally also related to JICA) Every Tuesday and Friday they have cheap and delicious side dishes for sale. With just 500 yen, I am already full and very satisfied. Also, the lounge is available for anyone to use at any time. The staff are all kind people too.

An open space run by JOCV (Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers) alumni. Kind uncles and older sisters are always there. You can bring your own food and snacks, and spend time at the table as you like. Also, coffee, tea, etc. can be drunk for 50 yen. Coffee beans from overseas are periodically replaced. Cups are basically your own to leave, but rentals are available for first-timers. Basically closed on Sundays and Mondays. Open (?) from 10:00 to 18:00. Wifi is also open for free. Usually neighborhood uncles and aunties are there playing Go or chatting. In the evening and Saturdays, elementary school students to university students study. A very good place to interact.

Rwanda coffee roasted at JOCA headquarters can be had for 50 yen. You can use it for studying or chatting. The 2nd and 4th Wednesday cafe space is said to be closed.

This is a place where anyone can enter and relax. Only on Tuesdays and Fridays you can buy and eat side dishes on the spot, and I also took some home today. It's reasonably priced and very delicious

There is a free space where you can drink Central/South American or African coffee for 50 yen a cup. The interior is also calming and you can chill out.
