The Tori Paitan (salt) was absolutely fantastic. Great depth of flavour with great noodles cooked to perfection. I also got the Tori Shio Don which I felt could do with a touch more salt, but was still good. Overall a very filling and delicious meal. I would definitely go back. CASH ONLY!
View on GoogleA group of young dedicated fellows own and operate this neat Japanese noodles restaurant! The broth was made by boiling the chicken for 10+ hours and yet the broth was not overly rich and filling! Instead, the soup had a luscious texture and alluring Japanese umami taste! The noodles themselves were so perfectly cooked! Although there were not too many selections on the menu, those several signature noodles choices and attractive prices were sufficiently worth of repeated visits! A word of reminder: the restaurant was relatively tiny and can easily get jam-packed!
View on GoogleAwesome ramen with a bunch of selections to choose from. The bowl I had was amazing. Tried to come once before at around 1:30 on a weekday and the line was too long for me so I came the next day at around 4:30. No English Menu. They do have a stamp/ point card as well if you plan on coming back a few more times.
View on GoogleOur little family has lived in Sakai for part of the year the last two years. This ramen shop is our favorite! Everything on the menu fits our taste, and the experience is always pleasant. They are accommodating of foreigners who do not speak fluent Japanese. We also have a five year old, and this restaurant has both counter and regular table seating. It gets popular during mealtimes, so do be considerate of eating quickly and leaving for others to enjoy. Our son loves the chashu bowl. The highlight is definitely the ramen for the adults. The broth is so flavorful with multiple layers of taste, yet it is not overly rich that you get bored. The noodles and chashu are perfectly cooked. We crave this every time we are in town. I’m craving it right now.
View on GoogleGood ramen with thick chicken soup and springy noodles, a must try once. I would love it if they could offer a different kind on meat though on top, the rare style meat is not everyone's favourite. Other than that service is fast and good.
