[April 27, 2026] A tonkatsu restaurant about a 10-15 minute walk from Nankai Sakai-higashi or Nankai & JR Mikunigaoka stations. A very family-oriented restaurant. A restaurant I've been curious about for a while, but hesitated because it's a bit far from the station, so I stopped by for a walk from Mikunigaoka on a weekday lunchtime Ordered the President's Tonkatsu Set 2,200 yen with sashimi and coffee. Despite being a tonkatsu restaurant, the menu also features seafood dishes like bluefin tuna sashimi and sea bream fry as a twist. The sashimi for the president's set on the day was firefly squid in vinegared miso. The tonkatsu was very tender meat with perfect breading. However, the umami of the meat was not felt much and it was just tender, and the homemade demi-glace sauce was just so-so. Also, after trying the president's set, I thought that tonkatsu and sashimi cancel out each other's goodness. The president's set is not recommended. Overall, my honest impression is that it was not as good as my initial expectations...

Reading an article by a certain blogger, I suddenly wanted to eat tonkatsu, and forcibly brought my wife for our first visit (laughs) We visited right after opening, and as expected of a popular store, there were already about 4 customers. Since there were two of us, when we were about to sit at the counter, someone who looked like the young master told us, "Please feel free to sit at a table," and we were able to sit at a 4-person table. The lunch menu was varied as attached, but I had the large loin cutlet set and my wife ordered the filet tonkatsu set ‼️ The large loin cutlet is thick yet tender enough to bite through easily with your teeth. The coating is also thin, and the crispy and pleasant frying degree is the best. The accompanying salad has table dressing on it, and the red spaghetti is also nostalgic and nice. Freshly cooked white rice was also in a considerable volume, and I got full (laughs) Although it is a little away from the store, there is a parking lot 🅿️, so I will also post the image of the guide board. I had business nearby and on the way back thought, oh right! Thinking about that tonkatsu I saw on YouTube around here? When I looked for it, the store was open, so I dropped in! It was super delicious! The sauce poured on it was good, but it was also delicious when eaten with the sweet sauce on the table, and delicious with salt! I went at 11 on Sunday, there was one 4-person table on the right upon entering and the rest were counters, so I thought it was a small shop, but later I heard there is a tatami room on the second floor, and customers who came in later went up to the second floor. For tonkatsu, I ordered filet tonkatsu two-color sauce, with demi-glace sauce and grated ponzu with raw egg, and it seemed you could add seasoned nori to taste. The filet katsu is tender and very delicious with either, making it a lunchtime where beer goes down well. For parking, there is a coin parking lot across the road, but if you enter the narrow path next to the coin parking lot and turn right at the first three-way junction and go straight for a while, there is a motor pull and you can park 3 cars.
