Always! I always come here! Delicious with small sushi rice and good toppings! The best. For first-timers: There is no menu with prices written on it. Cash only! Parking is available from 12 to 16 at the coin parking lot diagonally in front; if it's full, please use a paid parking lot. Please enjoy Japanese sushi shops.
View on GoogleA cozy shop with 2 sunken kotatsu tatami tables and 8 counter seats. A Showa atmosphere drifted through, making me feel nostalgic. The restroom is also a Japanese-style squat toilet. I arrived shortly after opening, but about 1 tatami table and 3 counter seats were already full. It has been quite a while since I last came to a non-conveyor-belt sushi restaurant, and since there are no price listings at all, my heart was racing 😅 Ordering various things like spiny lobster (kuruma ebi), abalone, toro, sea urchin, etc., the bill for 3 people exceeded 20,000 yen 😅 But the taste justified the price. It was a good experience with an atmosphere and taste you don't get at conveyor-belt sushi restaurants.
View on GoogleA sushi restaurant loved by the locals. Authentic ingredients, everything was fresh and very delicious. Reasonably priced and reassuring. It embodies the kind of shop where you think, "I wish a place like this was in my neighborhood.
View on GoogleThere is a variety of drinking snacks, and it goes well with drinks. Reasonable, and nigiri is 2 pieces per serving. There is a live fish tank inside the store, and it has a few counter seats and two tatami tables that are packed if 4 adults sit. Making a reservation before visiting is recommended. There is no place to put luggage or clothes, so keep personal belongings to a minimum. 🅿️ There are 5 coin parking spaces in front of the store.
View on GoogleWent after a long time! Filefish (kawahagi) sashimi is a dish I definitely want to eat if it's available [exquisite dish] (^-^) The clear soup made from the filefish scraps is also top-notch. It was my first time having water shield (junsai) sunomono (vinegar dish), and the acidity was just right; it's an item I'd like to repeat if available next time (^-^)
