Tried it with my family of 3 because I've been curious about it for a while. Since we had our 3-year-old daughter, we were guided to the tatami seating in the back. The customer service had just the right sense of distance, and we could relax. Before the main chanko arrived, we had appetizer dishes and snacks, all of which were delicious. The chanko also had fish paste in a crab shell, allowing us to fully enjoy a good dashi broth. The Zosui (rice porridge) at the end was also delicious, and my daughter ate a lot.

The master and the landlady are very kind. And the chanko nabe is also made by a master who is a former sumo wrestler, so everything is recommended. I am currently hooked on the shio chanko nabe. It's a restaurant I repeat at least once a month.

Ryukazan, a former Makushita wrestler. Now the big master of the restaurant. The selling point is miso-flavored chanko nabe. And the Koshino Kanbai from Tanimachi comes at a super bargain price there! It's close to the station, but one block south, giving it a hidden-gem vibe. Absolute recommendation!
